  • Fire chance: 10%

Magnate:
  • Reduced Turn Accel to 4.5m/s2
  • Reduced Turn Speed to 11.5m/s
  • Reduced Armour to 525

Incendiary Ammo:
  • Accelerated Fires: Additional 1 stack of fire per 150 points of base gun damage

Extended Mag
  • +45% Clip Size
  • -15% Damage
  • -10% ROF

Lochnagar changes:
  • +16 self fire damage per shot

Incendiary Ammo:
  • Accelerated Fires: Additional 1 stack of fire per 20 points of base gun damage

Lochnagar changes:
  • -90% rotation
  • Removed 250hp self-damage cap. Replaced with 60% damage progression and per-shot damage
  • 60% damage proportional over the course of the clip (leaves all guns with 40% HP left)
  • -100% jitter (every shot has to count)
  • -62.5% ammo (leaves 4 shot guns with 2 shots)
  • +100% rof
  • +16 self fire damage per shot

  • Test lighting. Made lighter from last week. No gameplay or spawn changes from day map.
Voyagers Cove (Night) (PvE):
  • Test lighting. Made lighter from last week. No gameplay or spawn changes from day map.

World Map
  • ”Deploy” changed to “Fund”

Magnate:
  • Adjusted stats (same stats for pvp and pve)
  • -10% armor
  • 15m/s2 turn acceleration (from 21.08)
  • 15m/s max turn (from 12.53)
  • 3.5 vertical acceleration (from 3)

Aten MKS (PvP):
  • changed falloff stats and flame reduction
  • 15% chance of fire stacks
  • fDamageFalloffStart: 0.15 from 1 (this starts the falloff at 300m)
  • fDamageFalloff: 1.65  from 0.325 (near 0 damage at 1500 max range)

  • No jitter
  • Single 'shot' (no buckshot)
  • 30% chance of single fire per hit.
  • 40deg side arcs
  • 25deg up and down
  • 0.8 Piercing on Direct
  • 1 Fire on Burst

New KOTH map:
  • Ashen Kerfuffle (2v2 and 3v3)

Ammo Changes:

Burst:
  • +50% AOE
  • +10% AOE damage
  • -15% RoF

Extended Magazine ("Pirate" in game):
  • +30% clip
  • -10% RoF
  • -15% damage
30% over 25% only effects light carro, Gat, mortar, and flamer, so should be a good move. Changed the rof and removed some damage due to 2 shot gun concerns.

Lochnagar:
  • -50% Rate of Fire. (from 0)
  • -50% Clip Size. (from 60%)
  • -90% Rotation Speed (from 80%)
  • -60% Jitter
No change to other stats.
Removed the higher jitter reduction by request

Greased:
  • +100% jitter
+20% jitter is hardly noticeable. All shots of Gat were able to hit a Spire at max Greased range. Pushing to a more extreme number to find the upper limits of acceptable jitter increase.

Heatsink
  • Vanilla clip and ROF
  • Extinguishes all fires on reload
  • +50% turn speed
  • -20% velocity
No change from last week. It was deemed a good fire recovery option that should pair well with the fire tools.

Tempest Stress Testing

This week, we're going to be stress testing the Tempest in 4v4 maps. We would like each player to email their log along with their impression of these matches.

For Windows:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Guns of Icarus Dev App\GunsOfIcarusOnline_Data

On a Mac, open the Console app in your Utilities folder. Find Unity on the side panel (it’ll be under ~/Library/Logs if it’s not expanded), and the file we need is player.log.

On Linux, look for your client log in the following directory:
~/.config/unity3d/Muse Games/GunsOfIcarusOnline

Hellhound Mk2:

The Experimental Crew is a group of players like you, participating in weekly testing sessions to help us balance content, old and new!

If you don't have Dev App yet, join the steam group and check the Keys to get into dev app discussion. You must join the group before you can view the thread.
