I was once killed by my own ship, the "Mo Dakka Dakka Dakka" to be precise. I was flying with a good crew against some fairly green players when my wife informed me that the wifi had crashed and she was about to reset the router (I have a wired connection and was still playing). I explained the situation to my crew and logged off when we were in a lul between combat.

After I regained my connection I rejoined the same server only to find some one else had taken the captains slot on my ship. The only available slot was an engineer post on the other team. So I rejoined the server just in time to see the my own ship bearing down upon me. I recognized it by its gun layout and felt a shiver of terror run up my spine as I remembered the crew I was so recently leading were a merciless lot for whom missing a shot was something that other people did.

They killed us very quickly despite of my best efforts.

Not quite something I did buuuut I was on the ship.

We had a troll pilot, spire, in canyon.  He full throttled to the other spawn and would sit there...and turn away his guns so we couldn't shoot.
Well another player Bagahnoodles, took the helm, and we did get two kills...and the pilot (who was level 1 and in the captain seat) didn't even attempt to take his helm back....even though since he was the commander of the ship, he could.

Don't think he knew that.

Was flying my Galleon once against a squid and goldfish in a 2v1(never happens to me (lulz)), we stay long enough to get the goldfish to back off, but we're about to die from the squid, and I can't turn fast enough with the claw to get a shot off. So I kite this guy around the large bridge in Fjords until our hull armor comes up, flick the engines to full throttle and pop moonshine. Right as he parks in front of us he gets rammed and blows up. Awesome.

Resource race. Everyone goes engineer. All galleon's. Frantically try to get on the points. T'was all fun till I used incendiary rounds and then the enemy team started to pop our balloons

Ridiculous?  Maybe not...until you realize that there was probably no one on that other ship's hull...

I remember back during the moonshine bug. Myself and 3 of my aspiring captains all got into all-harpoon Pyramidions and tried Ramming each other...except... I went Squid by accident.

I once went all harpoon junker and had all five harpoons hit. But the map was canyons,... and we were inside... so yeah

Got two hat tricks in a harpoon squids match on Canyon.

I have played in a peace match with an all flare gun Pyrimidon.
All not very peaceful for the engie's that had to keep fixing the balloon (or the ships that I rammed)
