It's true that you mostly won't hit more than 1 component with a burst mercury, but at the same time you will have an easier time hitting the one you are aiming for. Still, I think Charged is the superior choice, especially in the hands of a skilled gunner.

Trust me, nobody here hates pyramidions more than me. They are the easiest ship in the game and public games are often flooded with them.
I also despise any ship with more than one foward-pointing gun, I feel it's a design that detracts from the more interesting aspect of the game and makes the firefights a lot more static and boring and less "ship like".

With that said... The Pyramidion now has basically half the hull points of a Squid.
There is something horribly wrong with this situation. It's counter-intuitive, not to mention against what little lore we have on the ships.
And from the balance standpoint, it's excessive.

I'm still undecided on these changes as a whole, but I will say that the hull buff was not necessary. It feels wrong to have the squid be so tanky.
Mainly a Squid pilot, by the way.

I dreamed that the reverse peanut floated in a transcendent cube of fosfates while the racist cucumber ereased aminoacids from the eleven.
Good enough? :D

More vertical acceleration is all the Squid needs.

Sigh... I really wish we sticked to airships instead of trusting our lives to flying jet propelled tin cans with no actual ability to stay in the air once their engines stop.

And the reporter in that video at 2:30 has the biggest, manliest balls I've ever seen. That's dedication to your work, right there.  :o
