Welcome back Gambril. Be sure to log into the game to get your levels updated. Level cap went from 15 to 45. The game will bump up your levels if it detects you were an old account. It is a bit disorienting at first when you crew with a level 12 captain and expect an expert only to find he has been playing for less than a week and doesn't know that phoenix claw burns the engines.


Oh good heavens I'm worried now. I've heard talk about stamina and fine tuning things?   I seem to remember being able to paint your ships, I think that was the lateset patch I played up to. Have I missed a lot?

Hey guys and girls, Gambrill here. I took a long (looooooooooong) break for GoIo and im thinking of coming back once i finish work (yes im at work atm but what they don't know won't affect theirwork output) Anything i need to know about, any changes, etc.

Last time i was here i think it was when Cake played against some others in a 5 v 5, 1 team with junkers full mine launchers and the others had mobulas full flame throwers.

I pray to got the harpoon doesn't change :( me likey the way it is. Maybe we just haven't realised exactly how it meant to be used? :) im not insulting anyones intelligence just to make myself clear :) but when i first started playing i didn't know the full uses of certain ammo. And since barely anyone uses the harpoons maybe we haven't fully tried every possiblity? :)

i had a pyramidion with dual harpoons. I was  so good at pulling that spires couldn't do anything but be pulled closer even with kerosene xD safe to say its good to ram something while they are headed towards you ;) adds a bit of extra punch :P

1v1v1 to me just sounds like 'QUICK. GATLING AND MORTAR WHILE WE RAM THEM!!!!!!1111!1!1!1!!'    2v2v2 soudns great though :P wether or not to jump into a fight already happening or wait until they tire each other out and sweep in ;)

I haven't gotten a chance to mess around with it yet, but I've been considering the following Sniper Spire:


Top Deck
Forward Merc + Side Artemis
Pilot with Burst + Wrench
Wrench/Spanner/Extinguisher Engie with Charged (Merc Gunner)

Mid Deck
Heavy Flak + Side Artemis
Wrench Gunner with Lochnager, Charged, and Burst

Bottom Deck
Wrench/Buff/Extinguisher (maybe?) Engineer with Burst Rounds


The high arcs on the Artemis makes 4 guns incredibly easy, while the combination of long-range component disabling and the Merc/Flak kill combo should enable you to pin down and destroy targets at very long range.

I'm still reeling in agony of the lucky duck thank you very much sammy. I think the ducks should lose a ship as a handicap xD so its 4v3 :P

It slows it down enough when you are against an Lumberjack and does an okay job against carronades, it's not designed to completely counter the guns you know, the descent speed it allows now is more than enough.

How many times has this had to be repeated hehe? xD

I actually use the zoom on the mine launcher. Even though its a small zoom its still very helpful :)
