The Lounge / Question to steampunks out there.

As this game is about the steampunk era / style i thought i'd have more success here

I'm hoping to talk to a few people about any steampunk conventions / meetings that might be happening in england, more so in the north,  And what it's like. where the best places to buy clothing etc.

I want to become a steampunk but my social anxiety and shyness is holding me back to the point where i have a panic attack.

Any advice etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys and girls, Gambrill here. I took a long (looooooooooong) break for GoIo and im thinking of coming back once i finish work (yes im at work atm but what they don't know won't affect theirwork output) Anything i need to know about, any changes, etc.

Last time i was here i think it was when Cake played against some others in a 5 v 5, 1 team with junkers full mine launchers and the others had mobulas full flame throwers.

What about an attack and defend sort of play. Say... blue and red team both have a structure to defend while having to destroy your opponents' meaning team work between all ships. deciding how many attack and defend. If maybe a disabler would be best to help stop their attacking force. Or go full attack and take them head on in the hopes you can out gun them :) Obviously this is up for discussion and probably won't be implemented anyway but i wanna feel like i've said something decent today xD

I now Cannot enjoy ANY other games community and see them all as crude elitist buggers.

Gameplay / Flak Spire Combo Question

I've been trying a new flak spire combo. i was wondering if a few people could have a look see and tell me what they think.

Hades front
Artemis right
Heavy Flak
Carronade left

My ally was a Meta junker and was able to distract the captains to give me the range to effectively use the flak. (i was also hiding and popping in and out of the fight, as to not look like too much of a threat)

Enemies were a Hwacha Galleon & Meta Junker. We won 5-0 but i was hoping others would try this out and tell me your result and observations.

Hey people, you've probably all seen me at one time o another filling up your chat logs or crew slots :)

As a main engie i've come to learn of a new trick that really helps keep my ships Armour in good nick.

all to many times i see engies rubber malleting something that could take 3 or 4 spanner hits. leaving a MASSIVE cooldown, i usually end up taking the long route of a spanner (if nothing else is damaged too badly) and when the enemy are trying to gatling the armour down. which keeps the armour roughly on par / slightly less than it was on before their barrage. at which point i'll rubber mallet at the end keeping our pretty ship still looking pretty :)

What are your thoughts on this?

It's me again (sorry) just noticed that the mortar in game seems to say its 'very long' range yet an Artemis is only long range. just thought i'd let someone know so i can be changed :)

This may seem stupid to some more experienced players but what if we could have a system where the captain could decide what his/her AI's were? i know there are some pilots just can't live without 3 engies while i know some that can deal with 1 and have 2 gunners.

I see a lot of different pics and i would just love to know why you guys picked what you picked :)

Mine is of a little 3 week old kitten we found on the streets who was covered in fleas the size of coco pops and smelly, we cleaned him up, de-wormed him, fed the half-starved little wretch and potty trained him. After all this we were then told we were not allowed to keep him as we lived in a flat and that we were in breach of some animal rights. so a way of keeping him is through all the pictures we have :)  still miss it when he used to cuddle up to us at night :/  (sorry about any feels)

What about you guys?
