Trailer, PAX, Pre-Order, Website

We had a lot in the pipe coming in around the same time so we grouped all the announcements into one big one. Here’s the biggest:

New Trailer

Aha! You liked that didn’t you? Again, it’s straight gameplay footage taken from our development builds from our in-office play sessions. We’ve had a ton of fun playing but also learning a lot on what we need to improve. The current build we have now already has numerous improvements… which we’ll show at PAX East!
Here’s some stuff that didn’t make the trailer:

The hull also changes to represent damage as each hull point is repaired or destroyed.
The balloon deflates/inflates in sync with the balloon HP. Great visual reference for enemy health.
Even the galleon can take a beating.

Pax East

So yes, we’ll be at PAX East this year with a playable demo of Guns of Icarus Online. So if you’re in Boston this weekend, make sure to check out our progress and get in on the action at the Kickstarter Arcade in room 103.

During PAX East, we’ll be giving away closed-beta keys through Twitter and Facebook. So make sure to follow us for the secret passwords and challenges!

Please feel free to come up and chat with us.  We’ll be more than happy to answer your questions and get to know everyone 🙂

Website

And if you haven’t noticed, we’ve updated our website.  It should be prettier and now has a lot more information, especially in the gameplay section.  Basically, this section serves as a tutorial and guide for our future beta players.  We’re getting close, everyone!
