And welcome to the announcement of our Guns of Icarus Competitive structure launch.
We’ve set out to make an easy system that will allow for teams new and old to compete against one another in skirmishes, leagues, and tournaments. These teams will be vying against one another to earn a place in the end of season tournament where they can win awesome prizes such as in game badges, and out of game loot.
We’ll be launching a new section of the website alongside this, which will act as the hub of all knowledge for this system. On there you will find a list of teams participating, along with their recent matches and accomplishments, a comprehensive video database of all the streamed competitive games, and most importantly, an event calendar that provides information on upcoming tournaments and leagues. And that’s only part of the new area of the site, more is also on the way.
We’ll be hosting a kickoff event over the livestream of Qwerty2Jam next Friday, 8/9, at 3pm Eastern to chat with everyone and celebrate. The full rules have been posted here.
