Guns of Icarus Alliance Heads to PSX 2017

Hey there!

We’re thrilled to confirm that we will be bringing the PlayStation 4 version of Guns of Icarus Alliance to PSX 2017, taking place this weekend in Anaheim! If you plan on attending, we would love to welcome you to try a demo of the game at Booths 4 & 5.

In case you need more incentive than playing an awesome steampunk airship combat game, we will also be participating in the PSX 2017 Mobile App Quests & Rewards program! Attendees can scan a QR code on their badges in the PSX app, and then participate in all the Quests & Rewards throughout the course of the show. If you swing by our booth and complete a super easy task, you’ll be rewarded with something very cool! We’ll be posting the exact details of the reward on Saturday morning on Twitter and Facebook, so be sure to check us out over there for all of the info!

We’ve been working so hard on this, and it’s amazing to us that we’re in final stretch leading up to release. Even though we have a number of projects we are currently working on, Guns of Icarus has always been of utmost importance to us, and we’re so excited to be able to bring the game to even more people. Even more, we’re excited that we have the opportunity to continue to unite our players.

We fully designed this game to be cross-platform with the PC, Linux, and Mac versions that are currently running over on Steam, and it was important for us to ensure that the PlayStation 4 release would not be a point of division, but rather a way for us to grow our community. Having PlayStation 4 players be able to seamlessly join matches with our PC, Linux, and Mac players is a dream come true, and we can’t wait for you to experience it. Teamwork has always been the heart and soul of Guns of Icarus for us, and we’ve always considered uniting our players, no matter their platform of choice, to be an integral part of that experience.

“Everything Guns of Icarus finally arrive on PS4 as a console exclusive, giving us the chance to push the envelope in cross-platform play,” says Howard Tsao, Team Lead, Muse Games. “Not only will PS4 players get to play with PC players on the same server and in the same match, they will also be about to talk to each other via voice and text chats for the first time ever. Guns of Icarus is all about teamwork, so it was imperative for us to find a way forward to solve the technical challenges to make this possible.”

We have so much more to share with you in the coming weeks, and can’t wait to do so! Stay tuned for more exciting updates. Until then, thanks for flying with Guns of Icarus.
