Even though they do take shots at each other, and despite their individualistic nature, the fact that the League even exists indicates that they've got baller status diplomats.

I believe that they said that the guild was a mix of Japanese and eastern European influences, but I'm wondering about what era they will draw from?  Will we see kermlin towers on the ships?  (Please yes!)

Also, since the League is made up of various small independant groups, I'd say they've got very good diplomats.

Im pretty sure I will stay with my gut choice with the Arashi.  There is a lot I like about a culturally diverse people who live in a hard land and have the sense of humor to adopt a giant scavenger bird as their symbol.

I like the Arashi and the Angleans too much, so I'll prolly go with an Anglean who rolls with the Arashi.

So depending on what aspect you want to focus on, it could be the Republic, Guild, Baronies, or League.  Dayum.

Gonna have to be nautical cultures.  Places like Nice and Venice, places near the water would have to worry less about survival and set their minds to things like art and abstract development.

We can't just say magic to make everything work I guess, but what about mutant?
We could also use this as a lore perspective, what the people believe the whale is doing when they look at it, but this isnt what is actually going on.

So, they use magic monkies to fly too?

Would sky sailors eat seagulls?  Swing the harpoon around for a little snack?
Don't you mean Skygulls?

I don't know weather to shake your hand or stab you in the face.  Heck, I've got 2 hands.

Either that or some honeybadgering admiral tossed the snooty little pratt off the side and took it for himself.  Dapper as f**k.

Deal with it.

Furthermore, I noticed I said "Furthermore" twice in a row, it was late, I was tired.

Airship captains get killed three days before retirement.  Always. xD

All this talk of duality brought this quesiton to mind (Duno how....):  About 1/3 of the cities are by the sea, 1/3 are by an inland body of water, and 1/3 of the cities are not located near any large bodies of water.  Does this cause a schism between the cities in different biomes?

Furthermore, the capital, Alleron, seems to be located outside the boudaries of the League in this map

Furthermore, its also quite isolated from the majority of league lands, atypical of a capital city

Makes sense, might be more difficult for the heavy weapons, and the small mortar.  XD

Bringing it back to ammo, I know it would be too much to show in game, but we're talking lore here.  How did it get re/discovered?  What are the mechanics behind it?

Cool.  I can understand some ammo types; incendiary might have phosporous, heavy ammo uses dense materials like depeled uranium, burst would pack more explosives in the head, but what are the mechanics behind lochnegar, lesmok, heatsink, greased and charged ammo?
