Yeah. So someone can consistently voice spam all other players running around the map on a squid with a "lamp radio". Let's call it pre-electronic warfare. You have too much faith in people.

Well, things change while in battle (i wonder if there's someone without mic these days tho), i agree. But i have a question for you. Do you know what's the difference between average Jersey Shore episode and russian regional chat segment? ME NEITHER.

Feedback and Suggestions / Cyrillic wordfilter.

Hey guys, good work on the last update, it's really cool and nice seeing cyrillyc text in chat instead of translit because blah-blah-blah~. Ok, straight to the point. Since i can read cyrillic and understand russian language whole chat became even more irritating than ever before. It's like being in prison or middle school all over again( i mean school . school over again. yes). I swear to lord there literally wasn't a single line of russian text without obscene language. I'm dead serious. You could aswell move to NO THAT WOULD BE RACIST NEVERMIND. So here's DASHING idea, add basic form of wordfilter for russian obscene language. Atleast few most common words (and if someone tries to avoid filter, you still will be able to recognise them and horribly murder, warn that person. Because in next couple of weeks you'll learn these words anyway. From chat). Pretty please?

We've somehow managed to win 3 times yesterday, two times teams were somewhat balanced (well, only few enemy guys had small lvl advantage), but third time whole 5-4 lvl  enemy crew joined the party. That's very different from when two fully 8level packed crews stand up against you, but still, we're terrified, willing to run away like flock of sheep.
The only question was...

WHAT WOULD GENERAL LEE DO?

2nd level crews against 5th. We weree smashed to pieces. Depressing defeat.

That's the point when you usually quit. However. Once again.

WHAT WOULD GENERAL LEE DO?

By establishing simple communication between our ally and us. By having faith in our only crewmate, that wasn't in skype with us (rad guy, tho i forgot his name because of hangover). By focusing on superior enemy crew, shouting out "f-word" (oh, god, i love f-word), arguing with each other and singing battle hymn of the republic (no consistency, i know), we've had a legendary victory over superior enemy forces (every our victory is legendary, because, in fact it happens once in millenia).

Victory is always possible, but who've said that there is no fun in defeat? You kids are too casual these days.

Watching the tactics, I think the Russian metagame is about 6-8 weeks behind the Western metagame - purely because they're late to the party, but gaining very fast (it should catch up within 4 weeks).  The best Russian teams are soon going to figure out better builds and ammunition choices and it will be interesting to see how the Western long-game copes with the Russian short-game.

Implying that the majority of them gonna keep playing after the end of those let's plays, which is very doubtful.

Good evening, fellas.

You might have already figured this out, but i want to shed some light on russian...well...thing.

Basically, it's all thanks to a group of russian video-bloggers, who've been streaming GoI for quite awhile now. Yes, it's good for GoI popularity, but there's problem that i want to warn you about.
What you're facing right know isn't language or cultural barrier. Majority of russian crews rushes straight into enemy fire without any tactic not because they can't hear or understand veteran players, but because they're not willing to do so. Mostly they're playing GoI (well, with some exceptions ofc) because they want to meet/interact/shoot down their favourite videobloggers, and because those bloggers also pointed them out a new place for being aggressive. It's very specific (yet rather big) group of players(i mean ONLY those videobloggers followers, not all russian players, and i want to stress it out), based onto useless agression, lack of respect to anyone and, well, duh, games. I'm not talking about everyone of them, i'm quite sure there's also enough decent people there, but still... Just trust me, you don't want to learn russian.

And I'm really glad that you don't understand crew and ship names. It might cause some serious mental damage.
