The Signal Tower / Re: You Spin Me Right Round

I guess the finniest montages could be done in practice, if you manage ti find a crew for the other ship ;D
Packing a galeon with minotaurs and asking a friend to take Mobula.
THEN you will spin him crazy xD

That moment when you wait on your mortar for gat to strip the enemy, but you see the gunner went away so you run to the gun to make it in time, but before you can shoot a gunner grabs your mortar and shoots at the enemy, dealing no damage and ruinin the gat/mortar timing.

That moment when you have a gatling loaded up and about to strip that fish to the fishbone, but your lvl 2 friend shoots the mortar at the ther ship 50000 miles away, and the fishy uses that moment to aim their Hwatcha... -_-

That moment when your beginner crewman insist to take a gunner on a goldfish, but you already have a gunner so you send him an engie loadout, but he changes it to his own few seconfs before match, so you end up with teo gunners.

World / Re: Languages

The Chaladonians HAVE to have their own language, they were extreme isolationists.

Do you think they would have troubles speaking fuent Common?
Since, you know, they were sseparated much more than the others?

Yeah, a Common language is a must-be.
especially since we all fly ships  and shit.
What is important, is  that there still should be different languages, like Anglean, Yeshan etc.
Even if just in lore, they would be a logical result of long long isolation.

teh chaledonians have a weird relationshops with the natural world of OTHER nations. as much as they recognise that to maintain their own warfooting t ey need to maintain a ecological balance, they also understand that the same is true for nations with whom they are at war. to win a war, nobody is ruling any tactics out, so the chaledonians who are experts at maintaining balance are also experts at disrupting balance. when they conquer the territory and defeat their enemies, they can replant.

So you're saying they would be gladly using the tactic aiming at their enemies crops and nature itself?
I think it'd be logical, but I dunno how's that about their philosophy of "earth gives, earth takes."
Also, the main reason they fight, is to protect the nature itself, so.... dunno if they would do stuff like that....

Alright, I'm hereby sorry for trying to use our salvages and reengineered technology to save few of us from starvation.
I'll fuel my ship right up and make sure to pay the iron price for the food I bring back from those Yeshan fools flying too far north.

World / Re: what makes stable borders 'stable'?
« on: June 21, 2016, 07:03:02 pm »
Well then, maybe the borders are then stable not beocuse of distance, but becouse it's much easier to defend against airships than fight from them?
Like, imagine making a turret with 6 lumberjacks on it. Perfectly stable, since on the ground.
I guess the fights could be fought over smaller villages and outposts, but the boders still remain stable.

Perhaps we need a sort of a TF2 "Meet the [class]" type of video series.

THAT.... so much into that...

*Anglean engineer sitting on the frozen skyscrapper*
Livin in the north? Not bad at all. There are ups and downs, but it's overall not bad.
Like yesterday, only 30 of our man frostbitten their toes. Can you imagine? Just 30! Such lucky day.
Yeah, I'm really not-suffering lately."

......
Alright.
THAT would require a lot of Hans Zimmer soundtracks.

Oooooh. Damnations, I made a mistake here.

Yeah, I agree, sometimes itd be really handy to be able to speak AND look at the map at the same time.
I totally support that point.

Just becouse its not easy, it doesnt mean its inpossible to be an epic engie xD
Surely, its damn stressfull to be running around, whacking the damn hull and racing with the enemy gunner, hoping he runs out of stamina before you.

But hey, no other class gets that feeling when you manage to keep the ship in one piece and it escapes 3v1 fight with no overall damage. Then your captain says audibly. "Woah, I have no idea how we pulled that out"
But YOU know who really saved the crew.
YOU know who is a real hero without a cape.
And for that very moment... you are a champion.

Of course that moment last few seconds, becouse a captain gets bored of just flying and starts playing with Moon or Phoenix again, just so you dont stand there doing nothing...

Voice chat cant be activated with Tab, since Captain using stamina(shift) Would get
switched on his steam window when talking to the crew (Shift + Tab)
