Once again a very pleasant SCS! I like the new elimination system. You play against more opponents and you feel like you're progressing more. It feels nice to have a chance at a comeback. Fighting the centurions both in the first round as well as the finals felt great! (Would have been even better though if we'd defeated them the second time, obviously)

Fantastic, I like it! Right now it looks like it should reach higher up the forehead, but I guess that's mainly because the character doesn't have a hair/hat? How does the mask work with headwear, any overlapping?

I mean Planetside 2. Sorry, never played the first one.

I don't see anything wrong with this map. What are you all going on about?

On a more serious note, I assume every nation will have a few core territories and a capital. Through player influence, neutral cities and later faction-afilliated cities will be conquered so that the exact borders are constantly shifting.
Isn't that the way Planetside does it?

This world is actually pretty sophisticated. It might be a postapocalyptic, but not an actually apocalyptic setting. The factions are well-established countries that live in relative peace (I assume). So printing presses and well-made playing cards like this shouldn't be hard to come by.

I haven't seen any dice so far, but I am sure they exist and are as popular as ever. Concerning card games, they will probably be similar to ours? There will most certainly be poker-style games which allow drunk sailors to loose vast sums of "honestly" earned money.

So I just noticed these playing cards in one of the cages of the Valentines Day theme:

Looks like a usual playing card deck, but with different suits: I see a 6 and a 2 of Triangles, a 1 of Hexagons, and what seems like a 1, 2 and 3 of... leaves?

Yes, that makes more sense. Thanks for the heads-up.

Apparently we'll see Stamina in the next patch... According to Bubbles. Eric didn't seem too convinced though :P

I don't think the Chaladonians are meddling that much with other Nations. Diplomats yes, but I feel they are pretty isolationist.

I think those small beige tanks are supposed to be the balloon and I agree that they are way too small to be believable. From a gameplay standpoint however, I find this very interesting! It gives the factions different strengths andweaknesses.
I don't think the ships are actually very big. The ones to the left and right are the small frigates, manned by 4 AIs and maybe around the size of a Junker? That strange construction in the middle must be the Boss ship.

So, in the weekly progess report they just posted this picture of the Baronies' ships:

Q&A / Re: Are there Botmatches?
« on: December 20, 2014, 08:59:55 pm »
No, there are no AI matches. There is a practise mode though, that might help for some things. Otherwise, just try asking more experienced players for advice in game. There even are a few regular teaching sessions, if I am not mistaken...
For the theory you can always check the guides in this forum, there are really good ones for many things around! But most importantly, just practise :)

Firstly, the workshop is online! http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/about/?appid=209080

Secondly, how can we contribute? I don't know much on this unfortunately, so can some of you people explain how to create stuff and add them to the workshop?

In one of the Kickstarter updates, Eric actually gave us a bit of information about the different factions:

I'm not sure whether parts of it are outdated at the moment, but it gives some good insight.
Yesha Empire: Expansionist, meritocratic republic ruled by a triumvirate of philosopher consuls.
Anglean Republic: Isolationist, democratic townhall-government.
Fjord Baronies: caste system, feudal. Collection of territories ruled by lords and united under one king.
Order of Chaladon: Force Kingdom (Not sure what that's supposed to mean?)
Mercantile Guild: (no info on government given)
Arashi League: independent and heterogenous collection of city states.
