We finally finished up Eurogamer. I wanted to post some updates on the road but the lack of internet really hit us hard. Even though there were an abundance of wi-fi hotspots around the city, you have to pay for them all or be a British Telecom user to log in. Either way, we had our hands busy anyway.
More after the jump…
Eurogamer was 4 days of talking to a ton of people, handing out 1000 beta keys, teaching players how to play, getting them interested and to get them to tell friends, all that stuff. If you were up late in the US then you would have seen Eurogamer1, 2, 3, and 4 online in a variety of matches. We had a 4 computer setup, which was kindly assembled by the Eurogamer staff, so we ran full crews or 1v1 matches as much as possible.
4 days of standing, talking to talk over the noise of the convention, and the onslaught of interested parties definitely left us tired and beat at the end of the day. No worries though, we hung out and recuperated over a few pints of lagers and ales!
We met a lot of people during Eurogamer. We didn’t just make friends with new fans but also other developers like Dream and those at Air Buccaneers. Great stuff!
I have a gallery of random things I took photos of. Check it out for detailed captions 😛
