Necroing this thread because it is fun:
New captains item: The Chain of Command - a physical chain you use to beat your crew until they recognize who is in command. Smacking a crew member with the chain puts the player into AFK mode while the AI does the job they were neglecting to do. Smacking an AI with the chain does nothing unless the AI is on a gun at which point it boots the AI off that gun and makes the AI afraid to use that gun for 20 seconds.

This looks like a fun thread. Here's one idea:

Fix the collision detection on flamethrower particles so that 100% of particles hit as intended.

How would the Chain of Command break the game? That sounds like it would fix a lot of things.

How about this:

Nuke heavy gun. Drops a single nuke mine. Explodes after 20 seconds, causing 10,000 damage to anything in its 500m range.

Redria, I hope you're aware that this is for completely bonker ideas, not condemning current weapon balance.

Anyways:

I recommend we patch in the ability for figureheads to be used as weapons, that spear on the angel looks like it could pop some serious balloon damage.

...Might I suggest a Giant cake figurehead with mini banshees that have AI targeting, and shoot at enemy ships, doing 1/2 the damage of a normal banshee each, with a total of 5 mini banshees?

Totally aware. Seemed like a fitting joke. ;)

Make the bottom tip of a spire to x50 ramming damage.
Then allow spire pilots to turn their ship sideways and use it like a spear.

Allows your ship to do a barrel roll and bounce away all damage for the duration of that roll.

Perfect for oncoming Hawachas and for when your hull goes down.
