Or a pogo-stick at the end of the Spire, so it wouldn't receive damage from landing.

Ban cannon that bans the crew of the destroyed ship
stats it gives to ship it shoots at - instantly destroys hull armour, sets everything else on fire, inverts controls of all crew members on the ship for 10 minutes, slows engines by 90%, guns deal 90% less damage, turn crew fov to 10.
To balance out the gun it would cause the ship using it to get a speed and turning boost of 300%, ram damage + 500% and cause lag spikes to them...

Oh heres another, make the spire a death star (Make it big... really big...) and give it a crazy amount of hull armour with a laser beam with the sound file "IMA FIRIN MA LASER"
