A captain, drowning in debt and fleeing from retribution, assembles the only help he can find- a ragtag bunch of nincompoops- on a quest to chase rumors of a lost treasure. On the run from the loan sharks and federal agents, they must fight other treasure seekers and past baggage with old grudges for the captain's only salvation.
A crew of aviation officers patrol the skies for crime and citizens in help. One patrol, they hear a distress beacon from a nearby member of the squad, so they go to investigate. His ship has been destroyed; crew and rubble blanket the ground around the mortally-wounded lieutenant. He tells them of a plot against the government, and that an enemy nation is beginning an attack on their land. With his dying breath, he says that the plot goes deeper than anyone can imagine. The officers then choose: do they go for help, or do they take matters into their own hands? With the wind in their sails, and engines full of moonshine, they speed off to save the land they serve.
With no other options in front of him, our hero is left with two choices; he must either starve on the streets, or serve in this kingdom's aeronautical military in order to survive. With no experience, he is thrust into the crew of a daringly-brash and hot-headed gunnery captain; a nonsensical, yet accomplished, pilot; and a clumsy engineer who's knowledge is only matched by his/her butterfingers. Together, they are given the task to track a traitor who is assembling a revolution against the government, and bring him to justice.
Lemme know if I should think up more.
