The Man Below the Ice, by Theodore Fair wind

(Skymonger, Lord's Leap is the capital of the Baronies, and the Raven is a symbol of them as well)

(Didn't know that. Guess i still need to learn about the factions.)

In the After war year of 1915 in the Age of Airships, The baronies had enacted several snow expeditions through what is now known as Finfeld.
Their purpose was to chart out moderately safe passages of flight to the borders of Anglea at Utentana city.
One such expedition evidently had lost their way in a snowstorm. Instead of heading west, they got sidetracked 200 miles northward and continued heading in that direction until they stopped near the present day city of Thula.
It was there that the Barons found it.
A Giant Mechanical Hand jutting itself out of a cliff.
Till that day, only Angleans had dug up ancient Engines and small sized Automatons in their frozen home yet here was a Giant mechanical hand the size of a small building in near perfect condition.

For obvious reasons, The Baron expedition attempted to hide their discovery from anyone until they were able to dig it out and see what the hand was attached to.
And they were able to successfully do so for Three months.

That is, until the publication of this newspaper column by Theodore Fair wind.
Being a recollection of his journey with the expedition, Theodore painted a bright target on the Baronite Excavation to the Angleans.
A small skirmish of words and threats ensued over the Half excavated Metal man for two years, but in the end, both sides gave up over trying to claim sole ownership. Anglea had the expertise to make ancient technologies work, and the Barons had the resources to continue the expedition so far from their homes.
To this day, the Town of Thula has a mix of Baronite and Anglean descent as the city is a treasure trove of lost technologies for both sides to enjoy.

A written account of the infamous "Guild Crash", where due to the age of Airships rushing in headlong, the Guild's massive cargo planes fell entirely out of favour and it seemed they were in dire straights, and nobody could trade.  The economy ground to a halt, and people starved for years until a proper fleet was built.

A flamboyant Yeshan boy, together with a busty redhead and some friend of his once discovered a  functioning War Dreadnought of the Old World.
That was before the Age of Air, so many dreadnoughts were scarcely salvaged and we're still functioning.
This dreadnought came to be inhabited by the trio, that brought the flying monster back into the air.
Some of those who saw it flying said that it had a strong resemblance to a drill, others expanded the quote to the famous form we know today:
"It was the drill that pierced the heavens."

Its name was apparently Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and belonged to the Old World faction of the Ni-pon Empire.

Some may think that they would do many battles against the other sky titans that at that age flew around. They actually did for a while, then Anglea happened: even without the technology to fly, Angleans were still capable to board flying ships.
In a moment of panic the trio lost control of the flying titan, and crashed it on an Anglean mountain.
With the trio and some boarders dead, the Anglean high command was happy to have obtained such an awesome quantity of Old World tech.

The legendary tale of the founding member and president of the Mercantile Guild, who, due to the fact all his enemies were keeping him from starting a business, bought a large chunk of the wastes for almost dirt cheap, about the price of a single, easy cargo run on a Goldfish.

With this land, he started the single most profitable conglomeration of merchants since the War.

As he gained access to more and more resources and rare goods, from every corner of civilization, he found that he had amassed, quite simply, an empire.

Seeing as how he had wormed him and his company into the deepest recesses of all the great factions, without whom they would be greatly decreased in power and ability, it is said that the man who sold that initial country's worth of barren, desolate wasteland was the Man Who Sold the World.

Chief in command of the yeshan Sleeping Dogs intelligence unit, Wei Shen is and was one of the most famous infiltrators in history, as he gave problems to every adn any faction opposing Yesha.
Despite being an infiltrator, his stealth skills were not what made him legendary, but in act were his martial arts (and the fact that knocked out barehanded an Anglean Force Commander with his whole Honor Guard).

A legendary pre-war Senator of immense martial might and football prowess.  Totally insane, with a Darwinist political philosophy, he kidnapped hundreds of children to turn into perfect, unfeeling soldiers, but was stopped by a lone man wielding only a sword; Raiden.

''Dracana SENTRA portal DIGTION'' is the 45th paragraph of Chapter 53 of the Compendium Omnium Stercum Bovis (aka Compendium of All Bullshit) and spans from the beginning to the end of page 6378. The author is unknown, many baronite priests have deemed it heretical and worth of being censored, but since most of the nobility finds its content hilariously idiotical no alteration has befallen the Dracana SENTRA portal DIGTION.
Maybe it's the fact that it is a text-wall without punctuation, maybe it's because it's written in runes, maybe it's because the book itself is slippery and one can't look at the same page for more than a few seconds, but, noone today is capable of reading trough the obscure words of this enigmatic paragraph.

A perpetually, endlessly, incredibly drunk man constantly suffering from anemia due to believing that he can control his own blood through magic. This may be because his blood could ostensibly used as high octane Squid Race fuel.

''sky fish of blood and doom sky demon lord''

Is the supposed translation of the name of one of the oldest epic poems from Nothern Yesha.
The actual name would be "The sky dragon and the sky demon'' and, while having every aspect an epic tale would have, it also resembles a battle report of a duel of heavy airships. Archaeologists today from all over the world theorize that this epic poem is actually describing one of the last air battles that happened between the last surviving air-dreadnaughts during the Old War.
Multiple researchers have located the place of that battle via the approximate descriptions in the poem. The location would be along the Nothern yeshan Coasts, just in front of Anglea.
While many salvaging operations had been conducted, no proof of the validity of the theory could be found.
Speculations keep coming out tho, as some think that the two titanic airships have fallen into that sea, that is renown to be very deep in that area, others state defiantly that Anglea have already salvaged them both.

The Lion from Midnight is an old, old story about a roaming guardian in the Fjords that takes the form of a giant, majestic black lion, protecting innocents and preying on those who would prey on others.  It only shows up on deep, moonless, foggy nights.  There are usually 1-2 sightings a year, with more frequency denoting 4, or even 5!
