Just saying Gryphos, Oakenshield....
I haven't actually seen the hobbit....
I got Oakenshield from Game of Thrones (not that its any better), Its a Island off the mouth of the river Mander.

Remember how I mentioned a story? Well it's turning into something much bigger then I intended and I might have to release it on a chapter by chapter basis, if anyone is willing to provide feedback as I write the chapters feel free to send me a PM.

Also on page 15 of the RP I made a post setting the time table back 5 years for a flash back, I am retconning this to 2 years, as Dahlia joined the crew after the "Hellfire Event" assume at least 1 year prior to the Event of this RP as the date of her joining the crew.

I added a small Anvalan part just to have more content. I may do one for the Wild Winds and Crimson Skies as well.  Just to note, these places are still open for people to join the RP.

The Document for the Skies have no Limit is getting laggy for some odd reason... Probably need to check if its the huge amount of text, a memory leak, or if I just need to update my word processor.

Bdrline, where's Roland during this return? Thinking about making the rare, once-in-a-blue-moon post.

Can I have a link to the map we are working with? Also, do I have to make up my own characters or are multiple people doing the same character? Just sorta confused about how forum-wide RP works XD thanks!

As for characters, we all have our own set of characters, though should the situation require it we can use other peoples characters to advance the story, like if two characters from two different posters are having a conversation, one of the posters can use the other to continue or add context to the conversation.

For instance poster A:
Quote
Dave
"Should we open the door?"

Dave was excited to enter their new house, the two of them had waited years to start a real family together. Susie stood quietly for a few moments.

Susie
"Not yet, there's something I have to do first."

She ran back to the car to grab something.

Followed by poster b:

Quote
Susie wanted to immortalize this moment, as she and Dave stood by the door she was nearly entranced by the key in his hand.

Dave
"Should we open the door?"

Susie was snapped out of her trance. She thought for a few moments before speaking.

Susie
"Not yet, there's something I have to do first."

She turned back and ran towards the car parked on the driveway, digging through its trunk she found the camera, she turned back to Dave standing by the door and smiled, before pressing the capture button.

Mainly, just make you own character and/or crew and jump right in. Also with interactions with other character, we usually quote the last thing that person says to you and go on from there. Time to time we may take some control, but it is very limited.

...Also, don't make many spelling errors, otherwise i'll be pissed... Bad enough as it is Dealing with Bdr's spelling, making it a pain to format it into a document. (It's at 613 Pages now, guys!)
...Damn, I wish I could set up an automator workflow to format the document...
