...I'm still dealing with formatting, I just added the recent posts, and am looking at certain fonts to make the thought portions count, as unfortunately, copperplate lacks an italicized or oblique font face (italicized: Slanted, usually with different serifs; Oblique: Slanted)(Yes, I deal with fonts a large amount of the time.)

Aw sweet! Thanks, Pie!

Shouldn't be a problem, Mac XD

And for all of you? I am brand new to the forums, but if anyone could write me a synopsis of the entirety of the RP, that would be great. Because I have no clue who all these characters are or what "Cathedral" is.

I am basically very excited but very dazed at the same time XD

Thanks!

The current situation can boiled down into the following.

We are currently trying to prevent the total takeover of the guild from the inside out by rouge members of the Yeshan Empire, while we have arrived we are currently trying to assess the current situation and how to go and actually deal with the situation.

It's exactly what it says, officials high in the Yeshan Empire are attempting a covert take over of the Guild (refer to the map for this). Our characters have been alerted of the plot through a letter that was stolen from the office of one such official. Realizing the damage this could cause it was decided that we would try and prevent this from happening, so we packed up and flew over to the Guild capital of Vyshtorg and are now trying to avoid attention while we figure out what to do.

Lol, basically, two of the six Factions in game are involved. One wants to expand through any means necessary, Yesha Empire, the other is the target for they have a hold of finances and trading, Mercantile Guild. So far, there are a few groups involved trying to stop this plot, one in Yesha, the others already in the Guild.

If that is too much, you can always start off in Anvala at the Burning Skies Saloon, Cathedral at the Wild Winds Inn, or at Chang-ning at the Crimson Skies Saloon.

Nope! I think I'm good! Thanks! So should I just be a random character at first or something?

Create a character, making sure they are not using the same name as another (avoiding confusion) and then a good way to start is by coming in on an airship to say cathedral, then maybe getting a room to stay in at the Wild winds inn in cathedral.

Have an idea of who your character is, and then have them do something, whether they're on their way to work or just wandering the streets, arriving in one of the current cities we are currently focusing on, or even just have a snack on a roadside bench. It's up to you.

So I was reading the most recent page, and I got a bit confused. So, Pie, I am familiar with your crew of Alex, Richard, Phillip, and others in Vyghtorg, but who are the other crews like Gareth, Hector, And Lyre or Captain Oakenshield and Julius Lockheart?

Where is Griffinheart? Where is Cathedral? Where is Chang-ning?

Refer to you map for a second, Ching-ning is located off to the west of Cathedral, Cathedral is located near the center of the map, Griffinheart is the name of Gareth, Hector, and Lyre's ship. I'm not familiar with Captain Lockheart's characters so I can't really help you on those.

Pieman, that linked version of the map is of such low resolution that it is almost impossible to read the names of the cities

This was the one we had at the time, unless someone has the HD version from the digital art book.
