The Lounge / Random question from Russian guy

Good day, all-mighty all.

Well, after surfing and surfing web with some ideas and questions in mind, i come to this question:
So, kinda i was wondering, what are thoughts of this Community about Russia in common and how it changed with all that things, that happened with Ukraine? I'm Russian myself, and, for the record, i don't want to start another holywar or something like that.) Just your honest opinion.

Dat's remind me of two battles. But i have proof only for last one.

So first - it's the first time my team tried all-engineer kill-build Junker... and it was worth it. Against us were two hwachafishes, our ally was all-hwacha galleon. And... it was Paritan Rumble. Our ally leave match right at the start and enemy started to focus me... there was fun moment in all this hell, when i suddenly realized that we winning with 3-1. But that was intense battle.

Second was in Dunes (sic!), with me and my Triella (gat\mortar on right and flamer\carro on left) against Lumberspire and firesquid. And ally-pyramidion, who was level one and leave, after he was destroyed for first time. So i kinda hide near big rusty junk and tried to lure there enemy. Still a fun game and i will try to upload video AFAIK.

But you can still counter Junkers with good hwachafish or hwacha-spire with good crew. Or you can kill it's secondary engines. And, of course, good hwacha-blender galleon is a nightmare for Junkers.

Hey! You can always jump as spectator in any match and look how crew operates, with, say, guide for engineering you can actually see and learn what and how they do stuff.

One more thing. Galleons is slow in term's of turning speed. Even with claw, so you can keep behind him, kill hes engines and, eventually, kill him.
Flamer\carro build also effective, because you can disable this big ship and leave him, to help your ally with other ships, or wait for your ally.

I second what Mezhu said. I'm, maybe, not the best captain in this thread, but good crew makes Galleon do wonders.

Buuut... he also need a decent ally and tactics. If you pick galleon with Hwacha and Carro in Dunes against merk\artemis pyramidion, you will be, of course, in tears.
But in Ambush, or even Paritan Rumble, you can deal a lot of damage, even to experienced crews.
Only thing, that, i think, must be improved - it's, maybe, rebuild time on big guns. But... thats just thought.

Mr.Juggernaut - спасибо за добавление, на днях сяду и уточню эту деталь в мануале, ибо на практике мы бинокль просто... не используем.

Вообще, как показал опыт, никакой бинокль не поможет толком пристреляться к орудиям на средней дистанции - тут нужна практика и тренировка этакого собственного глаза и чутья. И потом - брать бинокль и использовать наводчика, это значит у тебя в команде один из инженеров (капитану, имхо, лучше иметь все три практических инструмента, вместо бинокля и трубы) занят не ремонтом и профилактикой ремонта, а наведением. Что ведет к тому, что в случае когда тебе навязали ближний\средний бой - ему либо некогда заниматься ремонтом, потому что он наводит стрелка, либо ему некогда заниматься наводкой и бинокль валяется мусором.

Возможно этот инструмент полезен в 3x3 и 4x4 боях, на отдельно собранном снайперском корабле, например ламбергаллеоне или ламберфише, который висит далеко от боя и постреливает, прикрывая союзников - но тут у меня практики, увы, нет. :(

Ah... so, because all flakfish was mention, so i'll pass it.

Now... meet lvl 4 pilot with double javelin up front and moonshine\bumpers\spyglass (what with this tool anyway?)

So he was talking and talking, about how his ship manage to ram into pieces an galleon with this build someday... just to be ram-killed by squid in game and leaving it right next after his unfortunate death.

For my opinion and experience nor junker, nor pyramidion needed nerf. Junker is a very good ship and most of his strengths lie in good crew and coordination with team. If you buff this ship, then you get a biiiig problem, when experienced crew will be dominate upon all other ships.

Pyra, on other hand, is a good ship for new players. It's fun and easy, and in the hand of good pilot it's a killer ship. It also can work in different builds and roles.

To all this i add one more thing. Use terrain and map. Goldfish can kill you balloons only up front, so everything, that can outmaneuver it will have advantage in difficult terrain.

Направил в личку, но прочитайте сперва - я сделал несколько сносок.

Спасибо за помощь, изменения сделал, а про двигатели сделаю сноску позже.
