New loch needs to be buried under million tons of earth and never brought back. Old loch needs to make a comeback.
We all agree on that but what was the purpose of the Loch "rebalance"?
Making it a more used ammo because you can't stand the fact that NOT all the things in a game are going to be equally used?
Loch was a niche, hard to use, insanely situational ammo still not worse than any other. Just different. And useful.

If a novice gunner has a 25% hit rate
Old Flak: There's a good chance he hits nothing.
New Flak: Statistically, he hits once.

If an expert gunner has a 75% hit rate
Old Flak: A good chance he hits both.
New Flak: Statistically, he misses one.

Can someone please explain me?
I'll do it myself then: what you're saying is that since the old flak had just 2 ammo in one round we had a lower chance to hit due to some magical ideas.
Last time I checked the flak isn't a disposable guns SO WHY ON EARTH YOU MAKE THOSE ASSUMPTIONS ON JUST ONE FLAK MAGAZINE?
For example in a whole match I may shoot 30-40 h.flak rounds (making up numbers for the sake of proof), it doesn't make a friggin diffrence if the flak shoots 4 or 2 ammo each magazine.
I'll still hit with the (again making up numbers) 65% of them, no matther how many shots each magazin the flak has.
You may argue that 4 shots are more encouraging but still the gun has lost his charm and you gained nothing.

Keep on making this game more and more flat, no risk, no skills needed, just throw a bunch of guns and full steam ahead.

This is an interesting idea.
It may look like it will make the game more complicated but actually some more mechanics can be scrapped in favor of this one...

But Geo already wrote what will happen...

Last time they tried to buff the gunner we got stamina which utterly destroyed the game.
What now?

He needs to step down from his throne or this game will collapse. In its current state Guns isn't appealing to casual/new player nor to veterans/hardcore/old players.
I don't think this is community's fault as we all provided tons of constructive feedback.
We INVESTED time on this game, hoping to see it improving day after day hence the immense saddness in seeing that small counter ticking the time of GoIO's life.

Instead let's think about why people leave so quickly after sales and try solving that problem. I bet many of us already have given 'some' feedback and we're sure as hell to give some more if needed.

Blame social media and freebie gaming. Lots of short attention spans and GOIO does not feed into it. Sadly Muse has been editing the game to feed these sorts of players. MM, CP changes, and now a splash screen.

Feeding casuals never works for longevity. Look at MMOs, whenever they stop catering to their core audience and start "content for everyone" or "casual gamer" pushes, the games suffer. The core players get disgruntled and start looking to other games, the casuals, while large in number, consist of social media gaming players who do not contribute to the community. They come and go even quicker. They are just not invested enough into the game to care.

Silly gametypes and such that will come with private servers may help some of this. Then players can turn GOIO into more of the game they want to play.

Last time I said guns was moving towards a casual gameplay (and not in a good way) I got pointed as a "nerd" who only cares about its stats and stuff like that...
"Core gamers" ore more commonly "THE community" is what makes a game what it is. Period. If someone won't stay there's no way to force it. Not even giving him free "kills".
Hopefully some more people share my idea. Thanks.

(the picture is not working, is it just me?)

You know you can turn on your fps counter in steam...

will fix, still I used to keep the ping under control by keeping it.
Now I can't... My ADSL line is embarrasing, at least, so yeah I need it.

Seriously? Next patch I want to see it FULL SCREEN INFO. I MEAN IT.

This is not a launcher, nor a decent pin board.
-Anakin_ posted a great example of what a launcher should be: an external application, sleek, elegant and more importantly good loking.

If you don't know how to make a launcher THEN DON'T DO IT. I couldn't care less that this is "not a launcher", this is junk.
Either REMOVE IT, or create an external (still unwanted) app that acts as GoIO's launcher.
Third option: embed in the main menu a box with news, in 16:9 screen there's tons of wasted space.

Muse, please, stop ruining your own game.

The launcher should be placed OUTSIDE of the main game... now it just adds 10+ seconds to the log in.

Sandstorm Republic - workshop
I can only look at these while my ship is sitting still in the spawn. Is it normal ?
There's no need to implement SREP's decals outside the spawn as it would be a waste of hardware resources.

Oooooh so that's what he was talking about.

huh... I assumed too much from him. I thought he was going for a clever angle (maybe making up words is part of it). Just a slight case of butthurt salt. Oh well. Let the pits continue.

We can't keep it up as you're way ahead of us.
Nor we can pretend that you will step down from your own throne just to have a chit-chat with us, angry antisocial nerds.

You talk like my post (and/or Coiler's) is an insult against you, does it smell like... oh yeah... some kind of guilt?
Or maybe because you don't like to read and understand the whole stuff I wrote, hence I'll add a TL;DR down here.
Just for you.

Yet, us, common folks, filthy scrubs, actual players, WE, we see the game flling apart due to a severe lack of players.
And the rotten community goes with it.

What a shame.

I couldn't care less 'bout you and your meaningless posting, this is a game and such it'll stay.
Am I allowed to share a point of view without being fingered as something I am not?
