The icons shown when ship components are damaged really do move around the screen a lot and stay really far from one another, and it makes it harder to quickly see what needs repairs and how badly. I get that this is meant to help new players know where everything is, and I don't want it to be removed, only that an option be added to the menu that would have all the icons show up in the same place, such as the left side of the screen or something. They don't even have to be visible at all times, only when they're damaged, and it would already be really helpful.
