Title: Static Component Icons

The icons shown when ship components are damaged really do move around the screen a lot and stay really far from one another, and it makes it harder to quickly see what needs repairs and how badly. I get that this is meant to help new players know where everything is, and I don't want it to be removed, only that an option be added to the menu that would have all the icons show up in the same place, such as the left side of the screen or something. They don't even have to be visible at all times, only when they're damaged, and it would already be really helpful.

Agreed. Hard to tell what needs fixin' at a glance. Static indicators would be much appreciated.

I'd much rather keep a minimalistic interface. I'd rather this be given as optional option.

Yeah, the thread starter also wants it as an option and I think we can all agree it's better as an option than a permanent feature.
