The bartender gave Carn a blue-rare steak with a mountain of potatoes.

"70 silver you get a discount for your services"

"So george tell us a bit about yourself, you seem like a man who travels a lot"

"That's still airway robbery, but OK..."

Bard chuckles at Gaige's distress

"Meh, if the bartender likes you, he gives you some great savings haha."

"I play that old damaged piano over there from dusk to dawn on most nights and I get all drinks completely free"

"No one else from these parts makes music like I do"

Carn digs out the appropriate amount, then begins to devour the dead cow flesh.

"Gimme what Carn is having, please.  Medium rare, aged if you have it."

George swallows a mouthful of the stew.
"Both my parents come from Anglea, but I was born in the territories owned by the Merchanrs, a small village near Kiro. What about you guys?"

The bartender offers a mouth watering and meticulously well plated Medium-Rare behemoth of an aged steak with a side order of a mountain of potatoes.

"You seem like a man who trades" "It is men like you who always increase the prices of food resources"

"The price is normally 30 Gold and 10 silvers but I like having traders in store"


Bard replied to George.

"I actually cannot remember where I am from, I have travelled my entire life, I have had my up moments, travelling to all the different factions of the lands and I have had my down moments against marauders, thieves and so on. I eventually ran out of fuel in my Pyra here in this town. Came to the pub for a drink and well, made myself at home on the piano over there."


Bard turned around to look at the old battered piano in the corner.

"Been here nearly 700 days."

[George Mills]

"Haven't you considered hiring a shuttle? I've done shuttle work myself, doesn't pay well, but it's easy. There are always shuttles around.."

[Carn]

"Born and raised in the frozen wastes of Anglea. Enlisted in the military when I was about 16, got recruited to a spec ops unit. Can't talk about most of those days, security reasons. But after some years, I just got fed up with all the bureaucrats, said "Screw it!" bought an old goldfish and went into the private sector. I met Guntar a few years ago, on one of those missions I cannot talk about. He decided to join me last year, for the same reasons that I left. Most of the jobs I take are as a security escort to merchant vessels, or to wipe out a bandit camp."

"He doesn't talk much...is he...'ya know..."

"Mute? No. You should hear him in a squall, his lung power is quite impressive. He's just not a people person, at any level."
