He takes the report and glosses over it. He snaps his fingers and one of his guards pulls up a chair for him he sits in it and pulled himself up to the table.

Admiral Qiao Huang
"Hmm, just a couple of questions. Althea, who is he?"

He continues to flip through the pages of the report.

Yiski
"You can ask her yourself."

Yiski then points to Althea standing next to him. He then turns to Lauren.

Yiski
"You good to watch the saloon tomorrow?"

Lauren
"You heading to the Armory?"

Yiski
"Eyup."

He glances at Althea, mentally rolls his eyes and continues reading.

Admiral Qiao Huang
"It says here that he was stabbed once but shot around 4 times, and then cremated earlier than normal. I'm not going to question you on that detail but what really interests me are the guards that carried him out and filed this report... Do you mind if I ask if you knew the guards who took them out personally?"

Instead of continuing to read the report, he looked hard at Yiski.

Yiski started getting annoyed with Huang. The reports were reviewed and approved by him. Hell, they were approved by the Council.

Yiski
"If you'd read the report, you know that Althea, my bodyguard who was assigned to me earlier in the day, killed him."

He stares down Yiski hard, his bodyguards take one step forward.

Admiral Qiao Huang
"Did you. Or did you not, know the men who carried out Dylan and Mr. Honeybadger."

At this point he wanted to get out of here right now, the place smelled of must and he didn't like Yiski's tone toward him.

Admiral Qiao Huang
If I knew I was dealing with a mule I would have dug up their ashes and talked to them myself.

Zill grew tired of Huang. He stood up and got in front of him, breaking his line-of-sight with Yiski.
Zill
"Who cares about them? If you're considering that their is foul play involved here, I'll take you to the grave myself and shove your nose in it so you can get a good wiff. I grow tired of your arrogance and general lack of intelligence. Take your peasants with you, and consider the two fools dead."

The rest of the saloon stood up and surrounded the group of three, practically pushing them out the door.

--NARRATOR--

With Admiral Huang and his bodyguards forced out by Zill and other annoyed patrons. Yiski looked at the group and scratched the back of his head.

Yiski
"Good thing we know people in high places in Chang-ning, or this would've come back and bite us on our blind sides."

Zill
"Flak, even if we didn't, I still would've done that."

Yiski sighed and soon the saloon was playing music and getting the unpleasant visit behind them.

Meanwhile, Admiral Huang was less than pleased with his exit. He mumbled a few things to himself.

The night went on and soon enough the saloon was closed. Althea took up a position behind the bar counter and took a view of the surroundings.

Althea
"You could almost use this saloon as a bunker."

--START OF DAY 116--

--NARRATOR--

It was well before any light could be seen over the city's walls.

Four men were set up in positions around the saloon. Two sat on top of separate buildings which overlooked the saloon's entrance and windows. One stood at the corner of the saloon looking like he was waiting for it to open. The last wore a long cloak, which at first glance, wasn't unusual. However, underneath the cloak, hid two breaching charges.

The plan was to use the breaching charge and make their own surprise entrance. Afterwards, the two on the ground would toss smoke grenades to disorient anyone inside, grab Yiski amiss the confusion, and withdraw. The two on top would provide suppressing fire in order to prevent any pursuit.

The leader of the group was on of the elevated marksman. He raised his fist which singled the cloaked man to immediately set the charges. As the timer ticked down, each man counted down with it to time their entry.

"5...4...3...2...1..."

*BOOOOM*

The explosion rocked the saloon and blew down the door, the shock wave shattering nearby windows. After a second, the two on the ground each tossed a smoke grenade inside. Soon the smoked filled the saloon and leaked slowly out the doorway and windows.

The one watched the other enter the saloon.

*BANG*

Suddenly, the entering man had fallen back and the others noticed the entry man had been hit on his side. This caused one of the roof marksman to open fire as to give some cover. As the other on the ground tried to drag his injured accomplice out of harms way, he poked his head above a blown out window.

*BANG*

The next thing the two on high ground saw was another of their accomplice's head with a hole. Within seconds, the spies plan had already failed. Within a few more seconds, their leader knew why: He underestimated the parameters of the saloon itself.

A normal breaching charge should tear down any standard door without any damage to the doorway itself. The double breaching charges was meant to also send pieces of the doorway. Because the saloon was rebuilt to withstand explosions and medium arm fire, the spies needed to use at least four charges.

The second miscalculation came with the main floor's ceiling height. The saloon had a taller first floor ceiling to allow smoke and steam to rise high enough without bothering the patrons below. Also, the ceiling had a slight slope which helped with venting.

The third miscalculation came with the windows. Nearly all the front windows were shattered. While not large, they were situated where the sloped ceiling would draw any smoke or steam out the windows when opened. Even though the saloon quickly filled with smoke, the ceiling and windows made sure it left just as quickly.

The fourth miscalculation was distance. The initial shock of two breaching charges would have hardly reached the bar counter and would not have affected Althea.

Before the leader had time to issue a retreat, his last man was now under fire and taking cover. The leader looked to see who was firing. He then saw from the second story windows Jun'ko and Zill firing.

Last miscalculation: Zill's sixth sense. Zill didn't get a whole lot of sleep because of his sixth sense. When the breaching charges hit, Zill knew the main floor could handle itself. He knew what an Elite was capable of. He left his room, with Jun'ko's help and looked through the windows and found the one firing marksman. Jun'ko and Zill then started to return fire.

Their leader abandoned the area leaving one man pinned down and another bleeding out on the ground.

Zill scanned the rooftops to spot anymore high ground units. He then yelled down.

Zill
"Althea! We have one pinned on the roof, but the other roofs are clear!"

Althea then approached the injured man on the ground. Knowing he would be captured, the spy put a capsule in his mouth. Althea tried to pull it out, but it was too late. The spy's mouth started to foam as he gagged to death.

Althea
"Cyanide. Spies."

Althea turned back to see Lauren and Yiski behind the bar counter. The two had their weapons ready. Confident that everyone was alert, Althea then went to the roof Zill pointed out. Althea again found the same thing. The spy had taken cyanide and killed himself. Althea took another look around the rooftops and saw nothing.

Soon, Althea, Jun'ko, Lauren, Ny-Lee, Roland, Yiski, and Zill were on the main floor. Moments later, a contingent of heavy defenders and riflemen arrived to secure the area.

Yiski
"The hell happened?"

Althea
"Spies. I will have to make a report and authorize a full investigation as to these men's identity. Hopefully, it will lead to who was behind your kidnapping."

Zill
"Yiski, you think this was done by the same people who took you?"

Yiski approached the two bodies which were on the ground. One he couldn't recognize because Althea's shot had disfigured the face beyond recognition.

Yiski
"This one looks familiar. Can't tell though. I only got a good look at the one who talked to me while I was held. How many bodies?"

Althea
"Three. Two here and one on the roof which a few guards are retrieving."

Yiski
"Well there were four when I escaped, so there's at least that many."

Lauren
"What now? If this keeps up, we'll have to convert the saloon into a military bunker."

Althea
"Assuming these are spies, the fourth has probably already withdrawn from the city."

Jun'ko
"No way. Nobody could move that fast."

Althea
"Trust me, spies have a talent for quickness."

Zill
"Just another day, right Yiski?"

Yiski
*sigh* "Yup. Just another day."

--Nidhogg's ship, "Pallisarde"--

*BOOOOM*

Nidhogg
"Great nimbus!"

He was jolted from his sleep by the sound of the explosion, even on his ship. He quickly got up, suddenly alert to the sounds of gunfire. Making haste to change into proper clothes, he then noticed the gunfire ceasing. He made his way into a street, keeping a hand by his sword's handle, and saw a cloaked man dashing down the road. In that split second his mind came to a logical conclusion. He tried to stop the man.

Nidhogg
"Hey! What are you-"

He was shoved to the ground, but the collision caused the spy to trip and fall. Drawing his sword with swiftness, Nidhogg got up along with the spy, who drew a small knife from his cloak. The spy, suddenly realising the rather humorous difference in equipment, made a dash in his original direction. Nidhogg made a slash at the spy, but only catching him on the left arm, leaving a cut. But the spy was gone nonetheless, easily being able to outpace Nidhogg, who gave up the chase.

Nidhogg
"Blast!"
Where did all that commotion take place? Actually, where else?

He headed off in the direction of the Saloon.

Zill came down with Jun'ko's help after the fight. His new bomb was on his belt, and he was glad it didn't need using so soon. He stepped on the broken door and smirked.
Damn thing never does stay up for long.

He walked over to the bodies and sighed, motioning toward Yiski.
Zill
"I lost too much sleep tonight for you."

Yiski
"Not my fault you have a sixth sense for bad things. It's amazing you sleep at all with that."

Zill
"I did ok before we started sleeping here."

Zill knew Yiski was about to say something and he patted his bomb. Yiski just grinned.

--Fleet dock--

The sound of the explosion echos out over the city.
Plasma stops in the middle of organizing the rest of the crew, and glances up in the direction of the rising smoke.
He frowns, calling over his shoulder to the other men.

Plasma
"Continue loading the ship. I'll be back when you're all done."

He jogs off down the streets. Intuition screaming at him. A man in a cloak with a slash on his arm passes him.
He cannot spare a glance for the man, but he notices the cut.
People should really be more careful around here.

--Outside the Saloon--
Plasma surveys the damage and guardsmen.
The bodies have been collected in the street, and a car is being pulled down the road.
He shakes his head.
They must really want the Commander. If they were able to blow the door, why wouldn't they follow up with more explosive? Or did they plan on taking him alive...?

He gives Nidhogg a nod as he arrives, moving through the wreck of the door and saluting the Admiral and Commander, observing the formality of his position.

Plasma
"Is everyone alright? It almost looks like they hit you with artillery. Got the bastards though? Guess this is an example of Elite marksmanship."

Jun'ko
"And Admiral marksmanship."

Plasma chuckles. Of course, he'd heard rumors about the Admiral. Impossible to surprise under the worst of situations.
He looks around the Saloon a bit helplessly.

Plasma
"I suppose there isn't much I can do, but if you need anything before I depart... I have to make a last visit to the administration building. I can forward a message if you like. I suppose there is no chance of a last drink?"

He shrugs, looking mildly disappointed.

--Saloon--

An hour passed before the saloon was cleaned up. Yiski stood out in the street surrounded by defenders, guards, and now other Elites. He took a look at his saloon and sighed in relief.

Yiski
"At least I don't need to rebuild it."

He sighed again knowing he'd have to keep the saloon closed today as he got new windows and a door.

Moments later a messenger flanked by two Elites joined the already large group.

Yiski
"Does the Council need to see me?"

Messenger
"No Commander. You have orders."

The messenger hands a letter to Yiski. Yiski starts reading the message and he immediately glares at Althea.

Yiski
"This your doin'?"

Althea
"I only suggested it and it seems the Council agrees."

Lauren
"What does it say?"

Yiski
"Effective immediately, I am to be relocated to the Southern Complex for protection until the investigation as to the identity of the spies and those after me come to an end."

Lauren
"What?! You could be there for..."

Yiski
*cutting her off* "years... I know."

Lauren
*Glaring at Althea* "Why would you suggest that?! Aren't we better off letting them come to us? It'd make it easier to kill them off and show them not to screw with us!"

Althea
"I suggested this because the Admiral and Commander are still recovering, lowering our combat strength. In addition, we came out on top this time because those spies did not have access to the saloon's schematics."

Lauren
"That's still not..."

Yiski
"Enough Lauren. I don't plan on goin' to the Complex anyways."

Althea
"We have direct orders."

Yiski
"Let me finish. If I'm goin' to to be stuck somewhere, it's goin' to be at the Armory. If the Council doesn't like it, they can shove it."

Althea
"I suppose the Armory is acceptable."

Yiski
"You honestly think someone is dumb enough to come at me when I'm surrounded by all sort of weapons? Also, Ny, Roland, you two are on the first ship to Chang-ning."

Roland
"What! You don't expect the two of us to leave do you?"

Yiski
"I do."

Ny-Lee
"You need our help."

Yiski
"No. I need you to be okay. You two recently got married. No point of either one or both of you dying. You two have a good future."

Ny-Lee
"I still don't like it."

Yiski
"Like it or not you're goin'."

Yiski then had a handful of guards escort the married couple to the docks.

Lauren
"You sure you want them away?"

Yiski
*sighs* "Yeah."

--Outside the Saloon--

Nidhogg had been lingering outside against a wall with the guards, pondering.

Nidhogg
So an explosion sends everyone their separate ways, and I still hadn't learnt all their names, ah well. One can't expect assassins to be courteous.

He then walked up to address Yiski.

Nidhogg
"So you're to lock yourself away in an armoury, better than a pub I suppose, but alas, still unfortunate."

Zill saw him send away the young couple and turned to Jun'ko. She gave him the "don't you dare think about it" look. He mentally sighed. If anything happened to her, he would literally turn the world on its head.

Despite that, he had bigger issues. With Yiski being sent to the armory till mistress knows when, the saloon wouldn't exactly be open. He wasn't in the condition to do work yet. More mental sighs. Jun'ko noticed.
Jun'ko
"It's not so bad. You can go tinker with weapons with Yiski and me and Lauren can go do something. We can figure out sleeping arrangements later."

Zill
"You sure? Just don't go flying with her. I don't trust her to not crash into the nearest sand dune."

Jun'ko just kissed him and went over to Lauren.
Jun'ko
"So what do you think? Girl's day out?"

Oblivious to the mornings explosions as the tavern BdrLine was staying at was further away from the saloon, BdrLine wakes up and gets ready for the day. Once dressed, he heads down and pays for the room and goes out the day towards the saloon. Once he arrives he notices the damages and the guards around while the rest of the group.

He goes up to Zill and the others and ask.

BdrLine
"Okay did i miss another attack on Yiski, or is Spoon back and broke down the door? and where is N y and Roland?"
