the EU sessions discussion.
« on: April 12, 2013, 09:44:35 am »
Hey guys!

Unfortunately this upcoming week I wont be able to attend the training sessions.

However, this thread is for discussing the dates.

I think ataris will be doing this coming week alone, so he will need a lot of help from you veteran guys.

Hmm, I'm around, all I need is the dates, as Skrim said. I'm free pretty much every evening, so I'll move around with other people who can't make some days

Just the right time for me, Mondays and Tuesdays aren't possible for me, so that should work out well! I'll mark it down in my calendar and try to get nothing interfering!

Just played a few matches on the EU training day.  Lot of fun, some very talented new captains, Snow (something or other) and Sanguis did amazing in their respective roles.
Was a crewman on Sanguis ship, listened to advice, applied it, rocked out like a boss and we scored many kills in his Junker.
Switched teams after a few victories in a row and captained for some experienced crew mix with newbies, Dragoniere(spell?) was a great gunner, speaks in infantry crew gunner talk, its like having Charon on my ship.  Snow was a lvl 1 in charge of a long range spire, did beautiful paired with 2 pyramidions in the canyon, talking in captain chat and coordinating strikes to bring down ships and ambush prey.  Just a bang up, awesome few matches with good players.

Hmm, I think it's Trey Snow. We've met so many times in random lobbies that if I were in a Japanese RPG, I'd say our fates were intertwined.

Oh, and that reminds me- sorry for being late to the party folks, I've just got back from the US and had to recalculate timings and such. As a result, I forgot the UK is on GMT+1, hence I showed up 40 mins late, which I thought was 20 mins early.

i'm very sorry for being late yesterday, some sort of a sudden problem couldn't even throw a word for someone to inform.
Anyway it was done really great by you guys to substitute me and run the event without any talk.
Thanks a lot!

Aye, I can add to the praise, that worked pretty well yesterday! I guess putting it at 9 PM helps with intertwining the EU and US timezones and players a little!

Personally I'd like us to go for 8 PM again, though, and if we're around long enough US-lads can take over? Might be just my problem though, because I've always got to be gone from 10 pm to 11 pm. (CET)

Aye, I can be there. 9 PM isn't my favorite time, because I've only got time until 10 PM, but it'd be fine with me, and it didn't seem to work out bad for all the others.

we can start 8.30 if you want, I'll be there.

the only problem we had with 8pm before is that more people are on at 9.

also an hour is actually a good time limit at the moment.

What I do is tell the new players to add us all to friendlist, and join us, because we will help them any day they want as long as they are willing to listen to us. Especially me, since I run my crew a little weird sometimes.

what we should aim for is actually more than 1 time per week, with cogs closing soon we could fill in that saturday gap, since it is the most likely day for most players to have free time.
