Verdun Tournament
Squidslinger Gilder:
Cause the game was a broken mess most of the time back then. It has potential to be MLG but only if Muse dedicated themselves solely to making a PVP game.
Skrimskraw:
a few clarification about mlg and muse
Muse made a tournament with questionable rules etc. - teams lost faith in muse run events.
MLG did not uphold their end, so letonator ditched them and our competitive scene now - im not blaming mlg, since muse probaly didnt help them enough aswell.
the current competitive scene is run by the community members without muse influence, the reason for this is that is that the dev support is minimal for competitive play. Its sad, but thats how it is, they are working on coop and not on better ingame functions such as pause functions etc.

on topic, sorry for detour.
Verdun looks like a nice game thought about picking it up, but viewership is also based on the streaming capabilities of the game. Does verdun allow overview in streaming, or is it purely seen from players perspective?
I looked at the link and it looks pretty simple to sign up etc. But are the ingame bugs as annoying as in goio? like the slow-mo etc.
Example is in SCS we thought about eliminating team pauses, but it seems unfair when the servers sometimes drops players.
Byron Cavendish:
Skrim as far as bugs, they get a handful every patch, and then like clockwork they fix em all a few days later. So ya they tend to break the game a bit after a patch, but the cleanup is pretty fast. Probably due to the fact that they don't have a test server.
I have no idea what the streaming capabilities are sorry.
Thomas:
Shouldn't this go in off topic or something?
And I feel the shot at the GoIO devs isn't warranted, especially if you're trying to commandeer the GoIO playbase in the GoIO forums.
ShadedExalt:
I played Verdun back when it was free.
Has it improved?
