I'm really missing playing the game! It sucks being at sea...

And not being able to see any of the images... This computer has managed to do the impossible and make IE6 (Yes, it uses Internet Explorer 6) and make it even crappier.

However there’s one thing holding me back from applying for a join right away. Your steam group consists of more than 90 players already, while you can only field 16 players in the cog matches with your two fleets.  As I definitely want to actually participate in competitive matches and don’t want to end up as a bench warmer, it’s essential for me that I can expect to be fielded on a regular basis. Hence I’d like to know much large your ACTIVE player base actually is and if you provided some insights on your fielding policy, you would really help me to appraise whether I fit into your clan or not.

My ship is looking for a dedicated third crew member who can make it on Saturday. As someone who has flown with you a lot can I say "Dibs"

Great match today, Brood. I was impressed all around.

ETA: Paddling too, of course.

Good game to the paddling. I'm looking forward to watching it when the video goes up. Congrats, and we'll get you next time.

Anyways, I just want to sort of sum up what the ducks are to any new player who might be seeing us for the first time.

We are ducks. We say quack every time we get a kill. We also do pretty well in tournaments and stuff. We have 3 cogs teams, 90 or so members, pretty much all active. And if you want to join, I don't really know the procedure. PM squash or something.

Terrific showing all around by Ducks today.

The Raft gave an incredible challenge with some brilliant flying and shooting while the Brood really stepped up against a very talented challenger.

Great games to all.

Hey there, though I'm not a  member of your clan yet, I still want to announce that I'll not be around for the upcoming week, as I'll be busy as an engineer elsewhere (at a formula student event in hockenheim). I'll use the time to make up my mind, as I definetly want to get into the cogs once I'm back.

Amazing match with The Paddling today. That was unbearably tense. We'll see if we can get you next time ;)

Wow, that's awesome (Formula 1 fan here)! I just wish the old Hockenheimring hadn't been torn down... That was one hell of a circuit, albeit not the most intricate (especially compared to the Nürburgring).

I just found that duck.com seems to redirect to Google. Squash, why didn't you tell me we were taking over the world's information?

It was! You guys gave us a hell of a run. We were all nervous wrecks after the match. One of, if not the closest match we've had.

It's awesome knowing that every independent duck team is it's own force to be reckoned with. I worry every time we're set to go up against each other because I know if any team can do it, the duck teams can.

It did suck not being able to scrim with you guys for this week though, haha.

Also I just want to big farewell to Jace as he departs competitive play. It was awesome playing both with, and against you! We'll always have the labyrinth scrims where you rammed our spire to death repeatedly and without mercy - all day.

Good times.

I hope you're still sticking around to play on occasion, losing the ability to scrim with you will certainly be a blow.

Yeah, that's felt really weird. No scrims and instantly hopping out of your teamspeak channel so it doesn't look like I'm eavesdropping. The segregation can now end! (At least for a week or so, then it'll be the Brood/Paddling separation)

Although they'll all probably end up being 'duckpond'.

Hey Ducks, I need someone to clone Jace, failing that, I need a new captain with me on the Brood.

Requirements
1. Huggable
2. Brawlable
3. Communicable
4. Chillable
5. Aggressivable

Duck reserve team/duck roster.

I've retired from competitive captaining and I am taking over the organization of the duck reserves.

If you are a duck and are not currently on a cogs team you should be involved in the reserves!
The reserves will be the best place for new ducks, ducks looking to get on a competitive team, ducks that want to compete but aren't available during cogs time.

The most basic part of the reserve team is a database on everyones availability, skills, and contact info.

The duck reserves will potentially field their own team in non league games.

PM me with your info:
In game name
location/time zone
availability
Class choice from best to worst
mic yes/no
Teamspeak yes/no
favorite ship to captain
steam name
(optional) phone number
Current team

i will be asking these questions of all the ducks I already know
