Hey Everyone,
As everyone probably knows we are implementing a clan system. This means that your name and tag will be safe from any interlopers, but to make sure the correct clans get their name and tag we want to lock you into the system before anyone touches it.

I will be contacting the leaders of the clans I have listed and getting them to confirm their clan's name and tag. These can be changed in game, but we want to make sure on day one you get the tag you've been using for a while now.

My current list of clans (taken from Sunderland's amazingly curated list.)  If any of these names, tags, leader info is incorrect please let me know.  You do not have to be a part of the clan to comment on their status.

If you are a part of these clans and your listed leader is not correct please let me know either by email (keyvias@musegames.com) or on this post.
If your clan is not listed please list it for me and I will make sure you will be contacted as well.

Hmmm... The e-mail has the wrong information compared to here. I sent you a PM about that. This does appear to have the correct info, though.

I'm currently the leader of SMAC, not Spasmic Monkey. The MIT clan idea was a bit of a failure, so I'm dropping that.

So, where can I read up on the details for how the clan names work. I've been out of the loop for a while because of school. Do officers have the ability to let people into the clan, can they kick people out? Can an office be revoked? Can the leader and officers see who is in the clan so if a rogue officers lets in some stray dogs, we (leaders or other officers) can solve the problem?

General silly question for the mass public: Once this new clan system goes into effect, I understand that each clan may only have 1 leader (for all intensive purposes), and that members have to be invited in by that leader. That being said, can you be apart of multiple clans? Or is it the case of when you accept one clan invite, you're locked into it until you leave, or are kicked out?
