Weekly Progress Report 1/30/2015

There used to be a tower we were supposed to defend…

Thank god it’s Friday, because that means we get to hang out with all our players! We’re doing two streams today!

The first is the classic dev fireside chat held at twitch.tv/gunsoficarus at 3 pm eastern.  The next is a special event with James Portnow on his twitch.  We’ll be talking about the games industry, the responsibility of marketing, and answering questions as they come up.
You should definitely hang out with us and join in the awesome discussion that’s going to happen.

Alex:
Expelling phlegm.
When not expelling phlegm, working on co-op features for Defense.

Howard:
MAGFest!  We had a great show, demoing PvE.  AI Skynet was definitely challenging! This week was a lot of sprint planning for Howard as we get closer to update release.  There are the logistics trying to appease the government with mountains and mountains of paperwork.

Jerry:
Working on coop faction/world implementation, and a few skirmish bug fixes.

Jack:
Mercantile Guild enemy ship textures and damage states.

George:
Magfest and demoing PvE. Fixed a handful of visual and sound bugs in Coop. On Medium gun template generation for artists.

CH:

Finishing up, testing and debugging local avoidance for airship navigation; frowning upon new gigantic AI ship models.
Tom:
Worked on Control point logic, Assault mode and the Stamina system.

Tim:
Concepting the retrieve map, coop mode specific UI

Eric:
World map/world progression for Co-op with Jerry.  Restructuring AI director spawning themes.  Tuning balance of enemy airships.  Debugging issues in Assault Mode.

Matthew:
New weapon testing, mod recruitment, and community planning
