Hi everyone,
Today the game is three years old! Looking back, it’s hard to believe we made it this far. 3 years ago, when we launched the game during Hurricane Sandy, we weren’t even sure if we could make a few weeks. To have you guys support us and help us get this far, we can’t tell you how grateful we are.
Over the last 3 years, We’ve gotten to know quite a few of you, and this turned out to be one of the most rewarding aspects about working on this game. When we started, we didn’t have a community to speak of. All we in the way of social media for example were a few friends and family. Through the game, we’ve gotten to meet so many awesome people. To think that people are hosting tournaments, helping us at our show booths, and chatting with us on Skype, it’s incredibly surreal, rewarding, and touching for us to experience this level of interaction with everyone.
We of course had to coincide the update release with the anniversary, so that the new birthday hat, fireworks, and ship theme would be there. We will also be on sale on Humble Store, and we’ve up the percentage of proceeds going to charity to 30%.
