Heavy Clip Mines

Allow heavy clip ammo to decrease the weight of the mine so that the mine will slowly fall out of the sky.

What if incendiary mines looked like they were on fire or had a red texture.

I assume you mean increase? Either way, cool idea. Therefore I doubt Muse will implement it.

Would be nice, but see above. I'm still waiting on team-colored mines (so I know when I can blame an ally ;D )

Yeah, don't post ideas on the forums when you are drunk.

It'd be interesting to say the least. Hopefully we could see it in the future.

What about heatsink in that? Increase the mine cap on the weapon for as long as it is loaded?

I suggested this to the devs a while ago (might have been on fireside). The answer was "Hmmm. Interesting."

It really depends on what the mines are doing. If they are acting like a regular projectile with 'armed' velocity set to 0 with 0 drop, it might be possible to add +0.5 mps drop to Heavy clip. This would not greatly effect guns other than flare. It would allow you to both lower the placement of a mine, and then make it sink.

#edit

It was on the forum, and I think also in fireside. In 2014.

What about allowing mines to suffer fire stacks so they can become time-bombs.
