Repairing Cooldowns (noob)
« on: February 13, 2016, 06:28:41 pm »
When I got to repair something that isn't fully broken, sometimes I get a message saying that it's in cool down and I can't repair it, but when I repair it the yellow bar increases. So am I actually repairing it?

If the bar increases then you're repairing it. The different tools have different cooldowns: spanner 2 seconds, wrench 5, mallet 9. So if you use a wrench you need to wait 5 seconds before it repairs another 120 HP. The visual for the cooldown is the icon filling up clockwise (see video)

There's no cooldown for rebuilding a broken component, so if it's broken click as fast as you can

If the tool you are using is the Buff Hammer (Dynabuff Kit) then the bar going up is the buff bar, not part health. Buffs can be applied when parts are on cooldown, but other repairs can't.

If you're not using the Buff Hammer then it sounds like there's a problem with the tutorial text.

Additionally its the rectangular health bar that increases when it's being repaired. Not the circle that fills up yellow, that's for the repair cooldown.
