Burning Skies Saloon

*Zill removes the latter part of the meeting from his mind. Useless Council banter no doubt. He takes a drink of Clear Skies and looks around the Saloon. He was not looking forward to leaving her behind again so soon for the North. The First Raid was a logistical nightmare. A lot of good me died in that. He cringed at the thought of another. Jun'ko saw it.*
You seem to be thinking about something. And judging from that face, its not great.
 
Something in the meeting last night, but dont worry about it.

Well if i cant worry about it, you cant either. At least not now. *Sticks tongue out.*

*BdrLine ponders for a minute wether or not tell Connor about all the happenings around the Saloon and the quests, but decides against it*

*Back to Roland and Ny-Lee on their jog, Ny turns to him*
Your leg getting you any trouble?

*Connor shrugs*

Well something must have happened, everybody in here is either exhausted or injured..then again it's not much different from any other taverns, pubs, saloons, whatever, I've been to. *he pauses for a moment*
Looks like I'll find out the kind of stuff that happens here anyway, considering how long these damn repairs will be

*Connor looks over at Zill and thinks to himself*

I wonder why he's covering his face with that mask..

[Yiski]

-Western District--

*The couple had been jogging for almost an hour and Roland begins to lag behind Ny-Lee. Roland stops and leans back to catch his breath.*

My leg is feeling alright. You think we can... take a moment's break?

*Roland walks over to a bench and lands hard into it. He leans back with his arms splayed across the backrest.*


--Saloon--

*Yiski makes Zill and Jun'ko another round of SBS*

You two better slow down on these. Not sure on the prolonged effects.

[Skyraider]

*The doors to the saloon and Skyraider walks in with the same scroll under his arm, he sets it down on a near by table and greets everyone*

"Good morrow everyone! Now. Who was the young lad who wanted to help me with this project? Because I certainly can't be bothered to get the engine myself."

[Honeybadger]

*looks at Connor and ponders his question*

Hmm, It isn't really legal in the first place but I guarente that you won't end up in any sort of prison.

*Zill and Jun'ko cross arms and take their shots. He hugs her to keep her upright, and to stop him from falling out his chair. He shakes off the effects, but Jun'ko isnt waking up this time.*
This....is taking awhile Yiski......

I told you to slow down....

*They both watch her, waiting for her to wake up. After 2 minutes, Zill's done waiting.*
Flak. Give me some Clear Skies. That should make her come back.

*Yiski gets her double shot of Clear Skies. Zill holds her mouth open and he pours it down. A few moments later she starts groaning, waking up slowly.*
Wha....who....

Well great. We broke her.

"We?" You two wanted to go all crazy.

It was three shots Yiski...

Get her upstairs. Ill get her some Clear Skies.

*Zill picked her up and went for the stairs. He saw one of the newcomers staring at him. After a short moment, he went upstairs to put Jun'ko to bed. Yiski followed with the Clear Skies.*

[Connor Mc.]

*Connor looks at Skyraider slightly annoyed by his cheery demeanor*

leg feeling better?

*Connor looks back at honeybadger*

When would we do this.."errand"?

*Connor notices Zill staring back and he slowly breaks eye contact*

*he says under his breath*

[Skyraider]

*See's the event with Jun and Zill, Skyraider turns towards Yiski and replies*

"Give me one of those drinks, I can run a test on it to make sure it doesn't contain some kind of poison or toxin. I don't think even YOU know what is in those things."

*Turns toward Connor*

"And I don't have time to feel pain or misery, so I guess the answer to that question is yes."

[Honeybadger]

*Looks toward Yiski with a smile*

You really have to introduce me to the others, it might be weird having them pass out around me.

*looks back to Connor*

If I don't have to teach you to play cards, we could leave now.

*pulls a couple items out of his case and puts him in his coat pockets*

[Connor Mc.]

*Connor throws his arms back behind his head*

well shit, but in all seriousness if you need my help or my crews help we can, being on lay up for weeks on end leads to extreme boredom

*he closes his eyes and continues smoking in his lounge position and speaks to Honeybadger*

just wait a second Honeybadger, no rush right?

[Honeybadger]

*Checks his pocket watch anxiously*

I suppose we have a little bit of time, why do you ask?

[Connor Mc.]

Because i can get one of my crew to go instead

*Connor sits back up*

*Yiski comes back downstairs and lightly punches Skyraider on his shoulder.*

Poison my harpooned ass. You should know better than to say such thing. You'll break an ol' man's heart.

*Yiski listens in on Honeybadger and Connor's scheme.*

It may not be technically illegal, but it sure as hell going to piss some people off.


--Garden District--

*Roland and Ny-Lee managed to jog for another half-hour before Roland had to stop. The two were covered in a decent sweat.*

Ha... I think I am done for today darling. *Heavy breath* I am exhausted and my ankle is acting up now.

*Roland went to sit on a nearby fountain and Ny-Lee sat next to him, giving a kiss.*

I think we can call it day. I'm surprised your ankle managed to last this long.

You and me both darling.

*There's a pause between the two as they catch their breaths.*

So, did you tell BdrLine about last night?

*Ny-Lee was flushed, but their light jog already had Ny-Lee a little red. She nudged Roland.*

Why would I tell him that?

You know how I feel about keeping secrets from people.

Well, I just told him I was helping you last night. Technically, it's not a secret or a lie.

*Roland sighed and lightly tapped Ny-Lee on her forehead.*

What am I going to do with you?

*Ny-Lee smiled and stuck out her tongue at him.*
