RP Tavern Quest: The Catacombs

*Scurries back up the stairs to find Carn, Ingur, and Shaded. Their eyes are glazed over and they are unresponsive.*

"Yo? Wake up! This isn't time to be mentally absent!"

[ShadedExalt]

"I was waiting for the collapse.  By the way, it's like an avalanche, it accumulates."

[Koali]

"There won't BE a collapse if we put up some braces."

[ShadedExalt]

"Do you have materials?  Or should we just tear up the old, rotting wood of the desks and chairs, which would be inadequate anyway?"

[Koali]

*Pulls out a large, heavy duty, spring loaded pillar.*

"That's what an internal hammerspace is for. These babies are spring loaded, so they can extend to fit a wide range of tunnels."

[ShadedExalt]

"I was expecting that, but my point had to be made.  Toss 'er here."

[Koali]

*Tosses it to Shaded, who is surprised at the pillar's weight.*

[ShadedExalt]

"Phew!  I expected these to be heavy, but not THIS heavy."

*Proceeds to lug it over to the middle of the room, placing it down and hitting a button.*

[Koali]

Boing!

*The brace expands and locks in place, preventing the room from collapsing.*

"Excellent! Now, would you happen to have some smelling salts, camphor, or other reviving agent? I think Carn and Ingur have gone catatonic."

[ShadedExalt]

*Proceeds to rummage around in my coat before pulling out my hand, straight and in a high five position.*

"This work?"

[Carn]

(Carn) "Relax, we're fine. We both get out of it occasionally. Docs say it happens with some kind of mold or something."

[Koali]

"Oh. Well in that case, let's go."

[Carn]
