We talked about Napoleon. Let's talk about another European fellow who could have used airships: Bismarck.

What do you think of Otto von Bismarck?

He was one of the greatest German leaders, who practically founded modern Germany by himself, but leading up to Worild War I, he was dismissed by Kaizer Wilhelm II.

Was he a hero of the German people? Or did he fail Germany by failing to manage the young, overambitious Kaiser? Or should he have pressed his advantage to create a Greater Germany?

Since GOIO community is quite global, I'm sure others have great insight about Bismarck.

Well, as a russian I can say it's not all depressing with napoleon and eastern europe- his camaign in russia is a textbook example of winning every battle and losing the war.

Actually, coming to think of it, do we have no Germans on the forums?

Schwaibe is Polish, Mr. Disaster is Polish, most of us are Brits or Americans (or Asian Americans). Anybody German?

Wundsalz? Lueosi? [not sure though about those] I remember there were even a whole german clan once in a while, and some time ago I was fighting ship named "Germany Master Race" (I changed my ship's name to "Israel Master Race"; outcome? 5-0 for us).

I think I remember playing against that Clan. Wonder where they went. All I see are lots of American impostors attempting German accents while they play.
Who are the people in the German international forum? Are they still about?
