I feel sorry for you for buying Bioshock. Maybe it has a good story but I never got to experience it because gameplay is as dull as dinner with your granpdarents.

It's not that bad.

I personally liked it, although 2 is better in that regard, and Infinite better still.

You must not have very fun grandparents... Though, to be fair, mine tend to break out into discussion in Vietnamese, leaving me completely in the dark, but then again...

BACK ON TOPIC I GOT MARIO MAKER

I don't understand what happened, but I've been playing a lot of Euro Truck Simulator 2. I have no idea why either.

  • Farming Simulator 2015
But....
...why?

haha, why not.

admittedly, it is really quite boring... there is not much to do.
To make it interesting, i went into the savegame file and changed the value of money I have.
in 20 minutes of gameplay, I got 3 achievemements - gained £1000000, gained £5000000 and gained over £10000000
I now has a large wind farm and I am doing forestry.
More fun growing and cutting down trees than waiting like an hour for wheat to grow.

Its such a good game, I have nearly 100 hours in it and all the expansions.

I also have a few of the paint packs, High Powered Pack and the Cabin Accessories pack

I buy these simulation games because they are calm.
As much as I love playing multiplayer games, puzzles and et-cetera

Its always nice to just be on yourself and do something new. like trucking or forestry  8)

The only simulation game I could ever play with pleasure was SimCity 3000. It was marvellous. Fourth installment was shit, further I had no opportunity to play, but I've heard lots of bad things about them.

Depends on what you seek. For a fan of the series it is a blashpemy.

Well that takes into consideration with what you think are part of the series. Having personally not played Fallout 4 I can't comment on it.

Depends on what you seek. For a fan of the series it is a blashpemy.

If you want a top down, engrossing RPG experience, you want FO1 and 2.

If you want a good shooter with admittedly rusty gunplay, but a good progression system and a decent storyline, pick up FO3.

If you want a version of FO3 with even more freedom to change the plot and infulence the world around you, great modding potential, AND better gunplay/companions, however a slightly worse story, pick up NV.

If you want a great shooter that has tons of gear, options to customize said gear, possibly the coolest power armor in any fallout, and a massive amount of freedom, with a risky, revolutionary perk based, unlimited progression system, pick up FO4.

I, personally, am a fan of it.  Is it classical Fallout?  Not in any way, shape, or form.

But it's a great game, easily GOTY.

From what I've seen, anyway, I can't run it.

I like fallout 4 a lot, but it's not quite fallout. It's too much of a shooter, not enough fallout.

It's like mass effect x bioshock infinite

...This is quite a bold statement, taking in count, oh, I don't knoWITCHER-FUCKING-3. Pardon me, my RPG-maniac-senses are tingling, because only Witcher came close to what cRPG means recently (ok, PoE maybe too, but well).

That's pretty good, but add in Borderlands for the gun variety.

Gunplay isn't quite BSI style, guns don't kick enough, or have that same satisfying impact, and accuracy is a legitimate issue.  Gunplay is more Mass Effect style, and it's kinda BSI-ish because much like BSI it went from dark and gloomy world to bright and colourful world.

If you added in more of the je ne sais quoi that made FO1-3 and to an extent New Vegas such good games, FO4 would easily be the best Fallout of all time.

I have never read any of the books or played any of the games, and I've seen dick all for gameplay.

Educate me, oh great one.

And I've never even heard of PoE.

Pillars of Eternity. Great fantastic game that I need to get back to. Honestly it was advertised for months on steam, kind of odd you hadn't heard of it.
