It actually has a 60 or 65 degree upward arc. (Can't remember which.)

Usually, though, you're firing at about 30ish.

Then it's a howitzer.

Nope.  If anything is a howitzer, it's a Mercury or an HFlak.

A howitzer is a cannon that can fire both low-angle and high-angle.  The Mercury is a field gun and the hflak. . . I don't even know what that would be.

I know what a Howitzer is, and it isn't in game.  What I was getting at was that those are the closest we have.

I still haven't figured out, or decided what a lumberjack is.

Now I'm thinking its like a mounted bazooka or something.

It LOOKS like an oversized, over-the-shoulder missile launcher.  It BEHAVES like a Mortar with Flechette rounds.  What is this I even can't.

What is the banshee? What is the hades? What is the green disco flare?

I assume flare guns are made of greek fire. Too unstable to use on flamers so they were used as flare guns. Hence the sudden combustion when it hits parts.

Hades reminds me of tar bombs made in the middle ages thrown out of catapults. It was like a leather ball filled with oil and tar that was lit before launched. I assume a hades is like that but with filled with gun powder as well as oil/propane.

Banshee feel like mini versions of a manticore. They certainly shoot like one with how the rockets never really fly exactly where you're aiming unlike an art. Anyone tried firing them with heavyclip? Might have the same effect.

With heavy it's pinpoint accurate, but it's rather ineffective; banshee's only and righteous ammo is greased, to spread havoc, especially when you have like 3 or 4 of them shooting at the same time; all you need is to hit the goddamn ship.

You've never fired a Banshee with heavy clip? Huh, and yes it does have the same effect though I tend to use it as a close range weapon so I opt for grease when able.

Also the Banshee (Aka ROCKET CAROUSAL) came first so you could say that the Manticore is the larger version of the banshee.

:P Still, while I understand the effectiveness of heavy in a banshee, really we just need more shots so misses mean nothing, so GREASED LIGHTNING!

At range heavy clip banshee is amazing, because no spread, but when you are close enough to not miss, greased all the way baby.

My 'Shee ammo is Heavy for range/sniping components, Greased for when I want to make the engis scream whenever they hear the distinctive shriek of the rocket, and burst for when I'm aiming at a Pyra from mid range.

Banshee and Manticore are missile pepperboxes.

An actual missile pepperbox pistol, invented during the Cold War.

It's like a portable banshee. I want.
