I'm just imagining that split second of exultation: "Yes! Got the kill! Now rebuild that ar-" *boom*

The ship death animation never looks better than it does when a ship explodes while moving at high velocity. Beautiful.

Between that and the pyra slam on Dunes from group B, we had some pretty epic moments in the groups this last week :P

Really though, I was so close to sneaking by underneath. And how epic of a dodge would that have been? Oh well. I feel I made up for it by being crowned ring around the rosie champ on fjords. To quote myself to my crew mid-match "Caaandy mooountain. Caaaandy Mooountain! You fill me with sweet suuugary goodness!"

But yes, excellent games last week. It's rare to see so many intensely close games in one day like that.

My heart was nearly pounding out of my chest during the end of this match. I was on the Pyra, so I experienced that kill through the game log. Even there it was glorious.
