Cliche time!
A piano starts to fall onto Gilder but as he presses the button again it disappears. Because he is spamming the button it's now glitched out and by the time he stops pressing the button around a thousand pianos start to fall on top of him.

*Puts on environment suit*
*Darth Vader breathing noise*
Am heading towards button HQ
Estimated time of arrival is 13 seconds
Atmosphere seems breathable but I'm not taking chances.
Neighbour is staring at me strangely over the fence
There seems to be earth like gravity
No signs of life other than the neighbour
Prepare for impact with button in 3
2
1...
*Boop*

A towel floats and hits you in the head after it was released from stasis. That wasn't so bad you thought, it's only a towel. Of course, there's a few questions that should be asked, why was the towel in stasis? Why would a button release it and hit you in the face.

The Neighbour seems to be looking away, both in fear and disgust. Oh dear.. maybe the towel isn't so clean, not that it matters, you were wearing a environment suit after all. Ah, you smell something. It's getting stronger and now your helmet fills with toxic smoke from the helmet melting away from the contact with the towel.

Oh dear, they were warned about this, the Neighbours said, why would anyone keep pressing the button. Now the towel have to be put back .

The towel comes ever closer to your face, you could see it seem to be somehow covered in weird acid like gloop. It's a shame you didn't read section about the button in greatest book in the galaxy. See Vogons don't take a bath until the correct forms are filled in. This has to be signed many times over by varies Vogon. This is the longest process form in all of Vogon. Even the form for death doesn't take a long. Yet there was one Vogon that completed the impossible task of bath time with all the forms correct, i's dotted and t's crossed. This was the towel of from that Vogon.

The towel touches your nose, your brain can't even begin to figure out the pain caused by this, not that it matters any more, the Infinite Improbability Drive had just reached 1

Oh no, not again. Said the potted plant as it lands so so far away from a button, leaving it untouched, inactive.

Cheesy crackers manage to ignore the button but sadly it would of told him all the answer to the question he wanted to know.

Abby touches the button and hopes for the answer to why Cheesy is so crackers.

*a whale and a potted plant pop into existence a few kilometers above Abby. The whale starts establishing its identity while its falling, and manages to finish establishing it right before it crashes into the ground making a crater with where Abby was standing at the center. The potted plant is thinking to itself, "Oh, not again..." before it crashes into the ground. Abby, the whale, and the potted plant are all obliterated.*
(Oh, and salute for the Vogon towel, Abby.)

An official looking person comes up to  macmacnick and shows him their ID. It's an undercover police officer. Macmacnick is charged with crimes of reusing a Consequences and is led away in handcuffs. The officer ask why would he press the button to that admit guilt to a crime with such a small crime.  None the less, all crime admitted is punishable by death, the button is a fast track to the rope.

While macmacnick swings in the breeze for his crimes, Abby stares at the button for a long time before walking away only to trip over a second red button activating it.

Which movie/version of the series is this from?

The room Gilder stood in goes dark, his hyperspace engine offline, suddenly a door opens, and a figure wearing a trench coat enters.

I stare at the button, than poke it lightly.

(Pieman, it would have been more dramatic if glider's ship hit a Giant Mass Shadow.)

By refusing to acknowledge the button, the button no-longer acknowledge macmacnick which caused him to fade from this universe.

The effect is only temporary until macmacnick once again acknowledge the button.

Abby hugs the red button and doesn't press it and showers it in kisses and hearts.
