calender of events in-game

It will be nice if there could be a weekly schedule when and what is going to happen in the upcoming 7 days.
Maybe adding notificating text on the main screen on the right empty side showing what kind of events will happen today and when it will happen.
This will keep people updated of upcoming events and events that will happen the current day.
Aslo for timezones I would suggest using UTC for showing event times, adding a clock in-game would allow people to check up when the event will happen.
Why UTC? It's universal time that does not apply winter or summer times so there would be no fiddling around with it and no confusion.
The idea of having this calender is for people to check up what will be going to happen. It's a simple way of letting people know things instead of only letting them know through the forums. This idea is more direct then just forums alone. This idea is also a good filler for the empty and lonely looking mainscreen that could be filled with more information.

I agree with this feature. But that is something for Muse to decide. As a community yeah, it is a good feature. But for the game, not so much.

Dont know how it would be implemented though.

I agree with this feature. But that is something for Muse to decide. As a community yeah, it is a good feature. But for the game, not so much.

Dont know how it would be implemented though.
the left and right parts of the main menu screen are really empty but could be filled with information.
you can place the compilation of the events that are going to happen the current day, or make it so you see the upcoming event.

This is a good idea and it's something new players are often unaware of. For example devmatch days, fireside chat, leviathan, saturday box social, aerodrome, the sunday rumble would be great to have in a calendar on main menu. Something simple and visible, not hidden under a submenu.

I think it should use local computertime to help the user better grasp at what time it is. But.  Up to muse. I like the idea and it would help get more viewers to tournstreams and why not of upcoming patches too? Etc.

It would need someone with time to update it every week.

Why would it need anyone to update it? If done right, it can simply integrate something like Google Calender, then it's just the job of the various organizers to use the calender. With how small the game is, there shouldn't be too many problems. If the game actually gets larger, simple requirements can help minimize trolling, and the CAs/Mods can easily manage to keep an eye on it occasionally, without needing to designate someone specifically as the offical "calender person".

EDIT: Other ideas for future use can include Clan-only Calenders when the clans get actual features, so they aren't just a tag that doesn't really do anything.

Schedules can change, you can't always tell in advance when a patch is going to be released and so on. It wouldn't have to be someone specific but it would mean someone would need to keep it up to date at some point. Some regular set times can be set for each week but if random events..

this would be mostly used for official events. no random event.

I'm sorry for leaving details out.

extra information that might be usefull.

-Events being shown on the calendar or other means of in-game eventtracking would be bigger events that are well organised.
-Small events like little matches are not going to be shown on the event tracker/calendar.
-The calendar/event tracker would be managed by muse because the community has no authority to fiddle around with the gamecode. (unless given acces to a special program to only manage the calendar/event tracker).
-If there is an event that you want to have placed on the calendar/event tracker then you should notify muse about this with a full explenation what the event is about, what the times are, when you are gonna hold the event, if you are sure that you will get enough people for the event.
