Who wants to Pluck a Duck?

Ducks are here, and we aren't going anywhere, if you think you can bring us down a peg, challenge us here for scrimmages, any day of the week.

I believe we're also worth 2 points! Come and get some juicy duck!

Let's not have individual threads for scrimmage teams. That will only serve to spam this forum real fast.

Why not? It's not like a whole new thread is being made for every single scrim. Plus it's a much more official record than just organising stuff off-site and hoping everyone remembers the schedule.

Better for them to have their own threads than to clutter up currently existing ones with scrim organising.

Eventually we'll have 10 different threads pushing down all the actual events and it will be a mess of spam like the Docks.

I think having *a* thread for scrimmage organization (there is already a sticky one, although it's not updated right now) is a good idea, but not one per team.

A single thread would be way too busy for all the clans. And most threads in this section have short lives anyway.

I don't think either of those claims is true. Prior to the creation of this one, there was nobody posting in such a thread, and I don't see how it would go from 0 to unusable in any reasonable amount of time. Especially if it's kept to single posts from teams and not random crew coming in cluttering the place with redundant statements and images.

I actually think it's a good way for people to directly challenge the ducks. We'll leave the thread up so players can use it for those sweet sweet underdog points.

I think it would work if clans could have individual challenge threads, and the main scrimmage thread is a sort of record of the fights and their outcomes.

A scrimmage sub forum would make sense.

So yeah, if you're interested in a scrim with the Ducks, post in this thread or contact me/Squash.
