Ahoy!

thanks for applying. Add both me and Zill in-game, and we'll fly a couple with you to see if you'd be a good fit (though your answer to my question is very promising :P)

To clear skies!

*Edit* apparently a bunch of my fellow clan members thought my question to be lame... I've updated it again for any interested in answering

That's a fantastic new question!

In case you were wondering, I'd make you guys some duck confit.

hmmmm... I do love me some well cooked duck. I've never tried preparing it, but I'd like to some day.

As long as we're not busy with, oh, say PAX all the time you're visiting, I'd go with something nice and spring-y to match the season. Maybe a pasta primavera and some lamb chops cooked in white wine paired with a nice saison (or the rest of the wine, if that's your jam).

(going backwards in time a couple hours to before the question was changed)
Come on guys, you just aren't being fair to potatoes.

Sure, bacon has the wow, the pizzazz, the "it" factor. You take bacon home for the night and you will have a wild ride. But come morning, all you will have left is regret and longing.
Potatoes, on the other hand, are for life.
Think about it. What do you use bacon for? It can be a topping or a solo food, both acting as just regular old bacon.

Take a potato, and you can boil it, mash it, stick it in a stew. Baked potatoes. French fries. Chips. Hashbrowns. Desserts, appetizers, full on meals. Use it to make alcohol.
Take a potato home for the night, and in the morning it will be making breakfast for you. It will spend the day hanging out with you. It will stick around. It isn't just a single night of fun: potatoes will give you night after night of quality nourishment, and stick around during the day to be there for all of your other needs too.

It will even generate electricity. How can you argue in favor of bacon when it can't power your electronics?

No, potatoes easily win that battle. A single hot flame may be enticing, but it is the long slow burn that wins this fight.

Howdy y'all.  Was recently gifted this game by a buddy who purchased a 4-pack...and I'm loving it so far.  Unfortunately, said friends have limited playtimes, and this game IS much more fun playing with non-randoms.  I figure a noob-friendly large-ish guild is just what I need!

I'm an experienced gamer, was a guild leader for several top guilds in world of warcraft, currently platinum and climbing in league of legends, and I've also devoured an atrocious number of excellent single player titles as well.  Friendly and as comfortable with receiving orders as I am with doling them out, I believe I'd be a worthy addition to any crew.

In Game Name:  BlueViper  (of Dorne, for anyone curious)

Steam Name (can be given later through PM): RunningManiac

Preferred Class:  I don't really have a preference.  When with my friends I am the pilot/captain of our proud little Pyra "BoomBucket," but I admit there is much for me to learn in that role.  Otherwise, I enjoy gunning, but engineers are more useful and get to shoot a lot of things anyways.

If we came to your house for dinner, what would you prepare for us?

I cook some damned good chili, and my beef/lamb stew is top notch.  But since I tend to make both of those on the extremely spicy side, I'd probably make lasagna.  Can't go wrong with lasagna.  Except for gluten intolerant people.  But they're not invited.

Nice reference, subtle enough. :D

I do hope we get to fly together in the near future, BV. :)

I still remember the days I shyly applied to MM. These posts bring back memories. T.T

Also, what would I cook if these steamdogs were to visit?

Mill's Ovenstuff, bacon-edition
Potatoe strips (not fries, not chips. Those slim thin strips)
Onion according to faith, diced
Bacon sliced and diced, much
Overdosage of cooking cream, flavoured and lactose free (because consideration)
Spices like black pepper and sea-salt, although consideration on the current season must be had.

1. Butter up a large oven-dish, pondering on the amount of diners.
2. Fry the diced bacon and onions until onions are delightfully ready. Add spices according to your liking.
3. Preheat the potato strips in the baconstuff left on the pan.
4. add half of the strips and bacon-onion stuff into the dish.
5. Use half the cream you've brought to the dish.
6. Add the rest of the strips and bacon, then rest of the cream.
7. Mix it up to make sure everything is creamed up.
8. To the ovens! 220 Celsius for an appropiate amount of time.
9. Feast.
