Spite towards the British who, all things considered, are actually pretty cool people.

I have no problem with British people. I think it is less towards one group of people, and more just general spite towards everyone who disagrees with us. "You don't want us to go to war? Well, I didn't plan on it, but now that I know you don't want to...". Thoughts like that probably fill all of America.
