A word on the Meta. (more like.. more than a word AMIRITE!!)

Which gets hard countered by many other builds, the game is a 2v2, not a 1v1, and it still doesn't deny the fact that the metamidion has the best trade-off compared to every other ship right now.

Now please, proceed and enumerate all the possible counters to the meta, my Research&Development Department is eager to learn.

Teamwork is the best counter. You can fly ships that counter the other team but if you can't fly well with your teammate you are screwed.

Hwachafish, 2xles gat + hflak spire, brawlmob ... just to name a few.
Either kill faster and dodge his ram (or let him selfkill due to missing armor) or disable his guns and allowing your ally to kill him quicker.
Oh and focus fire and outmaneuvering. Youre not forced to face em straight forward.
