What is Sandstorm Republic?
Origins:Years after the
Red Death, the
Age of Dust, and Gabriel's
The Icarus, came the
Age of Air. The people of Earth had been decimated and centuries of progress lost. Only after years of grueling labour and work have we once again started to establish industrious civilization. Once in isolated communities, the people of this ruined Earth have now banded together into competing factions. Some were unscathed by the apocalyptic events of the war - but this is not the case for the Arashi League. To survive, the people of this barren, dust riddled land must cooperate to get by. Just outside of the League’s borders a young faction has arisen from the dust. Forged amongst the ruinous sandstorms that sweep across the harsh terrain, the aspiring republic adopted the storm's name. Living on the edges of the Arashi League; the young Republic proved themselves to be worthy to coexist in this cruel environment. We who conquer the desert, who fight for our independence, and live to preserve our ways of life have a place at the Arashi's table. Together, the Sandstorm Republic and the Arashi League stand in the barren deserts of the west, repelling all those who seek conflict, and surviving against a harsh and unforgiving land. From dust we began, with dust to bind us, dispatched again to dust in our end.
Sandstorm Republic Summary:Sandstorm Republic is a clan focused on friendship, activity, and choice of competitive or noncompetitive play. We pride ourselves on being respectable, positive, and engaging members of the community; and we insist that all members of the Republic strive to live up to these standards. Sandstorm Republic also prides itself in being a clan that hosts a wide array of players who come from all walks of life and backgrounds, who come together and respect each other in all that they do. Members are expected to be active both in
GoIO and within the steam group page. We also enjoy playing games other than

The Structure of the Storm
Sandstorm Republic's leadership model is composed of four Co-Leaders, and three Officers. The Leadership will always be at an odd number, in order to achieve quorum. Everyone on the Leadership has shared duties, responsibilities, and collectively handle all internal and external operations of the clan. Questions regarding on any subject matter related to the clan may be directed towards anyone on the Leadership. The Leadership goes as follows:

Joining Sandstorm Republic
Sandstorm Republic is open to new players! We open our doors to any level player; as long as they are active, friendly, compatible and willing to listen & learn. That goes across the board - for the players just coming out of Novice matches or the experienced ones - all are held to those same standards. We are a tightly-knit group of players; we only bring in those who we've flown with for a while and are close to. Everyone still has room to improve and learn, and at Sandstorm we encourage that with organized events that require players to step out of their comfort zone to get a better handle on all game mechanics/classes/builds/play-styles.
We ask that all applicants play a set number of games with any leaders or officers in order for us to assess whether you would be a good fit within our clan. You may seek any of us out and join our matches at any time in order to accomplish this - just mention you’re interested in joining when you do. We also encourage that members join us on our clan Teamspeak 3 server to encourage effective communication.
Requirements: • We're looking for respectful players who are encouraging, fun, and positive! We know at Sandstorm Republic that there is a person behind every screen, and we ask that you respect everyone and to not be a mean, or malicious player. Win or lose, we want to have a great time playing this amazing game, and we want members who feel the same way!
