Make the arts flares and I'm game. I think there is too much disable to have no rebuild allowed, if each ship has the arts and mercury going the flak won't ever be up and the arts will get all the kills.

What about the guy who hits with an incendiary artemis and then avoids combat until the other ship burns out?

Well the artemis does explosive damage and therefore has an ignition chance anyway w/o incendiary rounds.... + dat flak

There gon be fires alright.

I bet we would see more dead spires than disabled ones.

Yeh, but I bet the deaths will all be drawn out and boring with artemis fire, and all the heavy flaks be broken.

If only there wasn't fire chance from explosive, I'd recommend bringing flak instead of art.

All flak. It is actually a lot of fun. We went all flak Galleons 2v2 once, and it was glorious. Broadsides pounding and explosions everywhere. As one of my crew stated, "Wow! This is awesome. It feels like a real naval battle."

That does seem like a lot of fun!

Rules:

All galleon
All flak
All rangefinder (more realistic, no more blind shots into clouds)
All Gunner (except pilot)
All extinguish

So no repairing/rebuilding.

It would be a hardcore naval battle, and pilots would have to pick and choose when to use their skills!

I think this would be awesome.
