The Docks / Looking for 2 crew members

My associate and myself are in need of 2 distinguished colleagues in this auspicious game

There are only a few requirements
-Must speak English
-Must be online at european timezones
-Listen to the captain
-Planning to be active member of crew
-Dedicated to the game i.e. play once a night at least

We aren't offering any kind of clan we only offer a group of good players who want to play pub games without having the hassle to find new crew every game.

Gameplay / New names under spots

As a captain who believes in skill and relying on ability rather than what the game can offer, I believe that the new names under a spotted ship is dumbing down the game. That's it if you want more of an argument comment.

Greeting's all Bards, Muses, Poets and Songwriters.

I have meant to do this for a while and here it is. My good friend Human-Duracell posted a video several weeks ago. This I believe is the founding of the Guns of Icarus Choral Society. I ask any and all who wish to offer there talents to join and to bring a fresh new vibe to the world of Guns of Icarus.

Obviously it will require some sorting out but feel free to post who you are and how we can contact you. Also feel free to post any and all songs you have floating around.

Feedback and Suggestions / Ok so I've had enough of people complaining about Gat and Flak/Mortar combos

So here is my big idea... Buzzsaw Crossbow(TBC).

It does the same piercing damage as the gat and it does damage to parts like the gat only difference really to the gat is its firing capabilities.

It fires single shot buzz saws which ricochet through the ship causing damage to the hull

Reload time: would be on average about 2 secs.
 
Range: this would have to be able to compete with gat's or maybe do better as its single shot so I would say around 800-900 m

Damage: as this bad boy will be single shot and will have to strip hull i would say about 100 piercing and 20 shatter or 40 flechette

BASICALLY WE CAN HAVE CROSSBOW AND FLAK/MORTAR COMBOS NOW!

So that's about it argue debate call me an idiot whatever.

So I was playing with this guy who was playing squid he was called "Pakkela" and he said after the game that he was "Ganking" our ships and I was confused as to what this means and even after being told what it means I was still confused, so I decided to make a thread to discuss Slang in this game and the meaning of the Slang
