I agree with Skrimskraw that the in game stats are not useful, the same as the in game ranking is not necessarily useful on determining what a good player they are. Many go achievement whoring, but really are not that good. I also know players, names of which I will not mention here, refuse to lose a game, and will only play on stacked teams, or leave after 1 lose. Many times the in games are very causal, and people are trying out new tactics, and such. It might make them afraid to do that if they know everyone is tracking their in game stats.

If you are using real competitive play stats that would be useful, but there is no central hub for that. Grayknight had offered do just that, and start taking down, and track wins and loses in competitive play. it would seem no one hit him up on that gracious offer.

Morbie, I do not have you on Skype or Steam. You are welcome to add me on both. Name is the same AquaMac.

I had already brought this new tournament idea to my team. We liked this new idea. Skrim would not be available, and there are coupla of our players that I know that would like to test their talents as captains, so I have decided to step back and allow them to get their captain on so to speak. :)

Anyway thought the sign ups were today, and waiting so I can sign our two team members up as soon as possible to make sure they get in.

Awesome matches Sunderland. We did won two games 5-1, but unfortunately we did not do very well on Duel at Dawn against Muse, and horrible spawns. We unfortunately allowed hell to freeze over and gave Muse their first win. :P

I edited my post, and I apologize. Captain Smollet, not sure that last of your remark was needed though.

I do not understand why some people keep saying that the Lumber Jack has not changed? Are you talking about after the big patch or before? Maybe the Lumber Jack itself has not changed, but something has like the velocity of the ammo. I am not a big lumber Jack expert like some people are, and even I noticed a change right away. The arc is completely different, and you need to shoot straighter now to hit someone.

Most of you have seen the stream of Phoebe on the Lumber Jack taking out a ship even if there was sliver of them showing. Why would you think she does not know what the heck she is talking about? It is pretty insulting for those that claim nothing has changed. She is not a Newbie on the Lumber Jack. I am, and I even noticed a change right away. I mean why not just take it for what it is, and trust her, and go from there? I just do not get it?

Bubbles, I think the point is Phoebe, being one of the best Lumber Jackers in the game, became every frustrated with the new update for there was not mention of changes that could effect the Lumber Jack. I was there when she was missing all of her shots, shots that were very easy for her before. She had spent many, many hours perfecting her skills at Lumber Jack, only to have the rug pulled out from under her, as the cliche goes. Now wether that was intentional or not is another story. Wether the Lumber Jack was changed or not, something was changed, and we had a hard time figuring out why.

Sometimes in text things can get misconstrued. Wether you were laughing at her, or yourself can be misinterpreted either way. I frankly did not know either way. If that was the case that you were laughing at yourself, maybe we can just post this up to another misunderstanding due to text chat.

After saying what you did, we did go to the sandbox, and were able to pretty much figure it out. Before that though, we kept being told that nothing was changed on the Lumber Jack. We knew something was wrong, and both of us were frustrated. I understand some things are going to be changed for better or for worse, but it is frustrating not knowing why, or not even know it was changed.

I just hope you can understand that Bubbles  that for serious competitive players this can be blind curve and very frustrating, even if it is for the better. Sometimes things can be said out of anger, because of that frustration.   :)

The current Cogs' teams playing this Saturday were invited that I know of. Not everyone was invited to test it out.

The point Veyka and Morblitz is that we were not even asked. It is not ok, and as Urz said there are a lot of bugs, not to mention a lot of lag. How was this even thought up? Who's idea was this? I know this is a dictatorship, and I also know this is for show, but we are not monkeys. At the same time I also know you would want the teams participation in this, and I do think that at least a conscientious could of been reached.

I have put this up in my teams personal forum, and thus far none of them are for this. I wanted to make sure it was not just my opinion, but the conscientious of my team. We will play on regular server, but they do not like that we are being forced on the test server. Not everyone is on or has tried it out, and just not enough time to practice.

Because this was sprung on us at last minute, and none of us knew Swallow was going to force us, with no prep work etc, plus the server is very laggy. We were told this was a volunteer opportunity, not something that we were gonna be forced to do. There seems to be a lot of variables, like subs. You know as well as i do that we are always subbing. Seems others also have concerns about this. Not sure why it has to be Cogs? Why can it not be any match to test it out or a friendly scrimmage? I will play with any of you anytime on test server for scrimmage.

We are already having problems right now getting everyone on the teams to commit to this and get in. What do you think will happen on Saturday during Cogs? We already get some commotion with just regular Cogs.

I just find this really hard to do, to get everyone on board. I did what i needed to do and got onboard, and even went in today to help test it out, but I am not everyone.

Swallow, I can not speak for everyone, but our team at least is pretty international. It is actually pretty hard to get us all on as it is, and now this? Frankly I did not know this was being forced on us, but was a volunteer opportunity. As well this is the first time that I know of that you mentioned this in forums. Not everything was really explained to us, even though we did our best to get info about it.

Than of course lies the other problems such as subs, or even last minute subs, which everyone gets at last minute for Cogs, which there are no rules against, except that they are not playing that week on another team.

I am not sure this was well thought out or planned properly.

Just voicing my concerns.
