End of Turn 6

Huskarr
With your trebuchet finally complete, and tested thanks to D.Strought, you load up the largest boulder you can find. with an odd sounding war cry, you release the boulder, and watch as it fly's true, and strikes the wall squarely. The wall is offended, as it is supposed to be the only thing that throws rocks at things, and attempts to hit you. It's throw falls a hair's breath short of your feet.

End of Turn 5

Luharis

After attaching another heartfelt note onto the wall, you can see the Aura become more defined. You become more desperate in your attempts to get the wall to notice you, and begin construction on a 5-tiered bento box (ready Turn 7). The wall has finallybecomes aware of your presence, and lobs a brick your way.

Damage Dealt: 0
Damage Taken: 4
HP: 96/100

Naoura
As you drag the scrap back into cover, a maniacal laugh could be heard as your project is starting to take form. No one really knows what you are doing, and some are even concerned that you may have lost your mind. Soon, the rumblings of an engine can be heard in concert with your laugh. The wall is really unerved by you, and tries to silence you with a brick. Unfortunately it hits your cover instead.

Ongoing Action: Something

Damage Taken: 0
HP: 79/100

Guagadu
Shells fly as you order your engineer to continue working on destroying the wall. You try to get him to target any mechanism that is throwing the bricks at people, however there is no such mechanism present. Horror strikes you as you realize that the wall is using bits of itself to damage everyone. Your engineer can be heard mumbling under his breath "My name is Eustace". The wall tries to strike you with a chunk of rock, however you were able to increase altitude so that the rock passes harmlessly beneath you.

HP: 78/100

ShadedExalt
You decide now is the time to construct a sports bar so that you can entice some sucker-- I mean AI to your cause (will be ready Turn 7). You also start plotting how you could dismantle Luharis' notes, as you fear some bad things might happen if you let them stay. The wall tries to discourage you and hits you in the arm with a medium sized brick.

Ongoing action: Building a sports bar/plotting

Huskarr
As you continue working on your trebuchet, you know this last part will be the most dangerous, as you will need to venture out of cover to fasten the beam used to throw the objects at the wall. You also work to fill up the counterbalance, and thank the wall for the many heavy objects it has thrown at you. The wall decides it wants to help you out even further, and throws a rock your way.

Damage Taken: 9
HP: 80/100

Skymonger
As you are observing the wall, you ponder some of life's mysteries, such as where did all these bricks come from? You hear Guagadu confirm your suspicions that it's using part of itself to assault you and your companions. The wall does not seem to even care about 1 or two puny bricks, and it does not seem to affect it at all. The wall seems to shake as if it's laughing at your inner turmoil. You decide that you're jealous of the wall, and you want to build one of your own (Ready Turn 8). The wall lobs a rock your way, but its aim was thrown off by all the laughing.

Suddenly, you hear Huskarr yell in triumph as he completes his trebuchet. You decide that this is perfect! You make your way over to the 'Love-rock-thrower' and begin sighting in Huskarr's stormbreaker. Huskarr is concerned that you might be crazy as you climb into the basket of the trebuchet. You yell at him to pull the lever! miraculously, you are able to land on deck of the stormbreaker unscathed. The wall is too impressed with your feat to do anything.

Queso
With the construction of the trebuchet finished, there is no more room available for you to take cover behind. This is not a problem, as you've decided to create your own cover so that you can continue your game with the wall (ready next turn). You make your move on the board taunting the wall with a fuseki that look oddly familiar. The wall decides that it wants to shake things up, and tosses a white stone on the lower left star point. It also chucks a brick at you, because it's the wall... it's what it does.

As you toil away with your construct, an eerie tune starts to emanate out from you. No one knows what it is you are trying to hum, but they are all unnerved by it, and decide to give you some space. As your tune comes to an end, the final piece of your construct is put into it's place. Success! however The Wall is not impressed, and chucks a brick your way. Your crust was about to become that golden brown that all pie men wish they had, when you were so rudely ejected from your oven. In a fit of rage, you spin around to see what has caused you this insult, and lay eyes upon a wall as far as the eye can see. Fear can clearly be seen in your eyes, as you know from your past experience that things are about to get ugly. The wall senses a moment of deja vu, and tries to hurl a boulder at you. Unfortunately, in its confusion, it hits itself instead.

Nah... this place is perfect..... They said it couldn't be done.... but WATERitsME took the blame away from me the other day.... was glorious
But without blame is Shinkurex really Shinkurex? You have been the repository of the community's collective blame for so long I fear for your identity and ours if the status quo is upset for too long.

It's okay.... Zill and Yiski promptly blamed me for something later on.... the quo has been maintained :P

Time to resurrect an old game brought to us by Oliver Colt. (https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forum/index.php/topic,3284.0.html)

The Wall

The rules:
  • The Wall is a sentient object. It will attack you (only in turns in which you're doing an action, to avoid killing someone who didn't check the thread for a while) and fight back.
  • You guys have to post the one action you'd like to do in the ongoing turn (it can be silly but keep it realistic, remember you're just a bunch of mortals attacking a superior being).
  • Each turn ends when I post the results of your actions (I'll post about other things too but the turn doesn't end until I post stats and such).
  • The Wall starts with 2000000 hp (cause it's the second iteration of the wall  ;)).
  • Each player starts with 100 hp.
  • A normal attack takes only 1 turn, even if you need to go to your in-game home to get that water balloon you'll throw at the Wall.
  • Larger attacks may take 2 turns (and unless it's really massive it shouldn't take more than that).
  • Other actions like getting an object to protect yourself will take 1 turn but don't allow you to attack in that same turn.
  • Other other actions like learning a specialization or building something will take you from 1 to 3 turns in which you can't attack the Wall but the Wall can attack you, and in the end they may give you bonuses or speed up some actions.
  • The outcome of your actions will be determined by my dice.
  • Feel free to bring your favorite ship!
  • If you die you can take 1 turn to revive, but you get -1 max hp for every death.
  • If you die completely you get to start over like a new player because why not xD
*Stolen from the first wall

If there need to be any Rule addition/changes, I will make those at the end of each turn, and they will be in effect at the start of the next

The Wall
HP: 2000000
Status: Daring any and all challengers to face it!

To join in, say you're joining, and what your first action will be for turn 1. Have fun!
